Great Thai place to dine in by yourself or with colleagues/friends. Good ambiance and food portions are generous too. Great service by staff. Everything I ordered was tasty except that the chicken for the rice was really chewy.

Our friends brought us here because it’s their favorite Thai restaurant in San Diego. We can see why as the food was delicious, reasonably priced and portions were large. We did a lot of things to share including Ma-sa-man Short Ribs (you’ll use a knife to get them off the bone - this was my least favorite of what we ordered), Islander fried rice (really tasty and not overly fried), Lotus steamed pork dumpings (a nice starter), the mango chicken (or friend’s favorite dish - we got 2 orders for the 6 of us!), and Pad Woo S’en (thin silver noodles - we’d call them glass noodles - this was delicious). If we lived in San Diego, we’d come here often as well!

Best pad Thai in all of SD! I will only get Thai food from lotus, reasonably priced, great service. The pad Thai and drunken noodles are my favorite, for appetizers chicken satay and veggie spring rolls. We love it here!

Decided to try this place for a light soup on a chilly evening. Ordered the Tom Kai chicken soup with a side of beef dumplings and it was so delicious! Our server was very nice and friendly. The restaurant ambiance was good even though it was unusually slow. Fair pricing for Thai food in Hillcrest, will be back!

I order from here A LOT. Great food and service. By sheer frequency of ordering over the course of years I should have had at least one sub par experience and honestly don't think I ever have. Service was great with precautions all through the pandemic, with food quality remaining. My only "complaint" is once or twice it's been spicer than I'd like (I always say 0), but I'm am such a wuss when it comes to spice that threshold is low, ha.

Ordered through door dash. Steamed seas bass was the highlight. Well prepared and good sized portion. Papaya salad was fresh and ample. Steamed shrimp dumplings were a little soggy, but plentiful and good flavor. All on all, a very positive experience, and I'd return.

Service was great, food was good temp but I did not fully enjoy anything I ordered. Everything was 2 sweet. I would call this Malaysian fusion with Chinese and Thai influence. I did like the satay but the peanut sauce was really sweet. Drunken noodle was sweet and didn't have the flavor I was looking for. My husband did enjoy his hot duck panang curry.

Ordered $70 worth of delivery on items I’ve bought before. They added $5.99 to the cost of the Duck Noodles Soup when I asked for extra sprouts, green onions, cilantro & bok choy - which they gladly provided for free in the past. I think they were probably upset because I asked for the duck in the soup to be fresh because in the past it’s always been old tasting duck. They put in fresh duck but with all the fatty skin on it! I have covered the lid with all the fat that I couldn’t eat. Seriously?I also ordered the Chicken Satay which comes with “cucumber relish” which was literally a few minced pieces of cucumber that you couldn’t even use a fork to pick up. Mostly syrup. Ridiculous for the costs!!I used to love this soup as it always settled my stomach when I was ill but now will find another place. Fortunately Thai restaurants are everywhere nearby & they just lost my business.

Just got my grub hub order. Estimated time was 40 min., which is appropriate. All of a sudden it shows up 20 min. Later....tasting microwaved to the max. The meat was super chewy and dry. Noodles were mushy. Was really looking forward to ordering delivery, because it's rare for me. It didn't feel worth it at all. :(

I have been a regular customer through the pandemic and for the first time I went in to pick up my order and was greeted (or I should say) NOT greeted in the most unappreciative manner by the male host or manager (Not sure). After picking up my order and arriving home the female who took my order over the phone took my order completely wrong. When I simply called in to let her know she gave me to this person without taking ANY responsibility and this MALE so Rude off the bat and unhelpful making it seem somehow my fault demanding then that I simply return it when I ordered it to go as I was driving home after work and not willing to back track but instead of being polite or helpful when I requested he simply could if he wanted to re-credit my charge "he hung up on me rudely". In that moment the customer he had gained for two years went down the drain with any future business from myself or anyone else I tell with what already by the looks of this restaurants interior was already experiencing a slow descend.

Does not follow special instructions. We placed an order through UberEats and added special instructions to not include egg in the Pad See You. We followed up with a call to the restaurant to confirm that the Pad See You would be prepared without egg. Low and behold, when the food was delivered; egg! The food is otherwise delicious but I do not recommend if you have specific dietary restrictions because this has happened more than twice when we have ordered.

The food here is AMAZING. Each time I've gone it's been packed with business- love that for them! But sometimes it's a little wait, well worth it though! A cozy little Thai place that no matter what I order it's always delicious. Also, their cocktails are on the stronger side for only about $5-10 each.

Our favorite place in SD for Thai food. Best drunken noodles.

I wouldn't eat here again. Nothing special, especially for the price. Food was sub par at best. Server was friendly. The drinks weren't stand out. Food is most certainly overpriced. I would recommend eating elsewhere, to be honest.
