Came in for a quick stop off the freeway and ordered a raspberry jelly donut, Boston cream donut and a milk. I got in my car and got back home the freeway. Raspberry donut was empty and had no fruit feeling. Milk although it is not the stores fault was the worst milk I have ever tasted in my life! Evidently it is some type of shelf stable milk that does not expire for 7 months from today.

It was like watching a culinary superhero transform from mild-mannered muncher to ham, egg, and cheese champion in the blink of an eye. He was sooo nice!! The ham, egg, and cheese croissant? Let's just say it was a symphony of oozing cheesy goodness, crispy buttery perfection, and warm embrace that made my taste buds do a happy dance. As for the donuts? Well, let's just say they disappeared faster than my willpower at a dessert buffet. And the best part? Despite my indecisive dawdling at 11 in the morning, Luckys still boasted a bountiful selection of donuts, as if the universe itself conspired to ensure my sugar cravings were satisfied. All of this gastronomic bliss came at a steal - less than $30 for a feast fit for a foodie king: two bags of chips, two breakfast sandwiches, a half dozen donuts, and a cup of milk!

Brought some expected yumminess home this morning (glazed, fritter, couple others). BAD after-taste in all. Suspect old oil, had to toss them all. Too bad - we like this place. Hope it's a one-off....but damn.
