We tried three different sandwiches. Hard to choose a favorite. They were all very good. Perfect size too. And cut in fours, so easy for us to share.

Got eggplant added to a sandwich and the eggplant seemed literally razer thin so I checked the sandwich to see if it even had any in it and when I opened up the fried pieces and there was barely anything in there. The sandwich was super oily and mostly consisted of way too many jalapenos that I believe came from a jar because of the very intense sour flavor. I wish I had better things to say. Service was awesome and they are very sweet but the sandwich was not good at all and I couldn't even finish half of it.

I enjoyed a late lunch of the basic grilled cheese and a bowl of tomato soup, which both were hot and tasty. Before leaving though, I was eyeballing the 'Flavor of the Month' Cherrie Pie milk shake, but I hate cherries; but the hand scooped vanilla sounded.. lonely; bit when he mentioned gram crackers as the 'crust' I was sold and glad I did. It was a delicious choice for sure!

This is a wonderful place to catch a bite to eat. The food is excellent and I feel I get true value for my money. The proprietors are very professional and friendly.

Wife says it's the best grilled cheese sandwich she's ever had. The Applewood sandwich was great, as well as the cheddar bomz.

My band was playing at the venue next door, and we got there a little early, so we were looking around for something light to eat. We saw this place, and I thought: "Grilled cheese is nice and light." They had a lot on the menu that I thought sounded great, but again, I was trying to keep it light. My wife and I decided to share the Hot & Heavy. I know, I know, it doesn't sound "light," but the description was too good to pass up. It delivered! One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I was glad we were alone in the store, because I sounded like "What About Bob!" It was delicious, and didn't interfere with my performance. (Which was great by the way) We will definitely be back.

Awesome experience and amazing owners. Katie told me their story and it was really cool. Good is amazing! 4/5 Zach daddy - awesome flavor and great food but the salami threw off the flavor but still finished it ! 5/5 Hot n Heavy - everything was perfect and no complaints! 3/5 Tomato soup - didn't have much flavor and was decent but paired nice because well, grilled cheese and soup is awesome. They don't really have seating but why would they, they are located in an amazing part of San Diego where you should enjoy at the beach! Overall it's pricy but I'm coming back. Awesome food

This place is consistently great. The young lady in the front is SO nice and welcoming. Tried the eggplant appetizer today. When I opened the box it was not what I was expecting. To my surprise, there was a very generous portion of perfectly fried and not heavily coated fried eggplant. Delicious!

Who would have known grilled cheese could be such a darn good delicacy?! I love this spot. Not the healthiest but damn delicious! The lady in the front is always super friendly too

I popped into this shop and decided to try their specials back in April. The cheezer of the month was "steak it to the house" and it was smothered with jalapeño cheese sauce- it had a nice kick to it. The pozer of the month was the Spam musubi! I also tried Kater's Taters, a cup of tomato soup and the Bermuda fryangle. You get to choose 3 fried items, so I got curly fries, onion rings, and cheddar bombz. Everything was delicious! The mango milkshake was also so refreshing! Can't wait to see what their specials are each month!

A solid, super affordable place to get grilled cheese! I really enjoyed just the plain grilled cheese (the OBC) and tomato soup and my husband enjoyed his big cheesy.

It's a small little shop with a couple of tables outside . It's more of a spot for take out.I got the Bacon Street grilled cheese and added tomato. The tomato was a great addition. If you like grilled cheese then you will like this place.I thought the tomato soup was just okay but nothing special It took about a 10 minute wait to get food

An amazing option of great grilled cheeses or some fried sides. The owners are amazing at creating a special menu item of the month and they even have an egg roll type of food that changes every month. One time it was a Philly Cheesesteak type and another it was a Mac n Cheese egg roll. Very delicious!! These people are like Mad Scientist of making amazingly delicious cheesey treats.

If you love grilled cheese then you will love this spot! This grilled cheese spot is right by the beach and has every combination you can imagine! The owners are so friendly and there is such a cool vibe. We tried the after school special which had peanut butter, raspberry jam and cheese, it was actually so good! I also tried Katers Taters and it tasted like a baked potato! They have amazing homemade sauces and curly fries, fried eggplant and delicious shakes! I tried the banana shake and it was so yummy
