I love trying out new brunch places and this one did not disappoint! Located in North Park— street parking only so just account time for that.Our party of 5 didn’t have a reservation and we expected to wait a bit. Luckily though we only waited about 10-15 minutes at 11am on a Saturday! The place itself is very cute, decorated with bright wood panelling and a large purple art piece by the check in booth. There was a decent amount of 2-4 person tables inside and on the patio. It looked like tables can be pushed together for parties of 6, maybe 8.Our server was attentive, helpful, and very friendly! It took us a bit to decide what to order since all of them sounded appetizing. Food came out fairly quickly despite the busy Saturday rush.Food:-Ube Cold Foam Matcha ($7.50): aesthetically pleasing and tasted so good! It wasn’t too sweet either and that’s without making any modifications to it.-The GOAT Sandwich ($16.50): I subbed with turkey instead of ham and it was delicious! Served with large pieces of potatoes-Waffle Churro Sticks ($16): shared with the table. Four “strips” of waffles served with a small bowl of fruit, jalapeño-blackberry sauce, and maple cream cheese for toppings. Go get this!The rest of our party ordered the Madi Wrap ($17), Oklahoma Onion Smash Burger ($18), and Chilaquiles Verdes ($17). They also ordered the Banana Bread Latte ($6.50) and Brown Butter Latte ($6.50) Everyone was satisfied and enjoyed their food.I’d love to come back and try out other food and the Tiramisu Espresso Martini!

We've been looking for a go-to breakfast spot every time we visit San Diego and this might just be the place. We did have to wait a bit but seeing the appetizing plates being served to other customers just made us stay. I tried the green chilaquiles and they were delicious. Everything from the chips to the carnitas was spot on. It will be my order next time as well. Just writing this is making me crave it again. I highly recommend Madi's!

The food was excellent! The waffle churros were something like heaven. The Mediterranean breakfast was awesome. The service was fast, and friendly. You should make reservations, otherwise there will be a waiting line. My only complaint is the noise level. Very loud, very big crowd. We came for breakfast. Next time we will try lunch. Very tasty looking menu.

We went on Sunday. Arrived at 11:30. Put our name on the list. After an hour we checked. They said 10 more minutes. After 15 mins we checked again. The host said he tried to text us. We didn’t get the text. We finally got a seat. We got water right away and my friend’s kale drink. But the server didn’t come back for 10-15 min. It took over 45 mins for us to get our food. The table of 4 next to us got sat after us and were almost done with their food before we got ours. We asked our server to check on our food. My friend ordered an egg wrapped and I got the club sandwich. Only the eggs needed to be cooked. We have NO idea why it took so long. I work in a restaurant and cannot give them a good review. Food was ok but customer service severely lacked. It was busy but by the time we left it was pretty empty. My friend and I had a lot of catching up to do so we talked while we waited but I would not ever go back. Was not worth it!!

Coffee and mimosas really good. Food not great . Tomato sauce from the white bean plate tastes like it’s canned , Chicken fried steak doesn’t taste like chicken. It’s not really worth coming back . There are better places.
Madi was terrific. I have only been there twice, but in both instances received excellent food and service. I will definitely be back. Loved sitting out on the patio as well. There is a little road noise, but not too much.

Had an amazing Saturday brunch! There was a bit of a wait but it wasn’t too bad and totally worth it once we were seated. The food and drinks were great, including the coffee, which I am reaaally picky about. The service was great too and even though it was busy, our server Maddy was super lovely and efficient.

Food was incredible and came out in a timely manor. Definitely recommend the goat points as an appetizer and the coffee was not bitter but perfectly sweetened and smooth. Maddy G helped us and was great, she was super nice and attentive and we had no issues with our order. She has a great welcoming smile and made our whole experience enjoyable!
