Food here is on the pricey side but consistently delicious. I would recommend trying their food.

I am sad to say, Marketplace Grille is no longer my favorite "go to" restauran in Mira Mesa/ Sorrento valley. I do not live in the area but have quite a few clients there. The bonus to the client visit was a stop at the Grille, I have used them for catering as well After 20 years of visiting, I wont be back. I always liked that it felt like a family run business. This last visit I merely asked the owner how business was and so was admittedly not having a great day; however her response was angry and aggressive and unsettling. I have plenty of places where I can get friendly service for less than $23 for a sandwich wrap. Her aggression temporarily changed the trajectory of my day.

Grilled shrimp bowl with herb rice was excellent. Fresh ingredients and robust flavors. Portions were normal sized and I got enough to make me happy and full. There is some seating inside (4 tables), but also a nice courtyard outside for additional seating. Friendly and courteous service.

A small, unpretentious, walk-up kabob place with a few tables inside for eating. It looks like most of their business is takeout. The strip steak platter was delicious. They cook their meat over an actual charcoal pit and it adds a wonderful flavor. The portion sizes were in line with the price (and the location). My only objection was serving eat-in orders on paper plates with plastic utensils. Those are for takeout.

This is the most pleasantly surprising combination of my two favorite things - Mediterranean food and Boba! As someone who grew up in an Armenian household where my mother cooked traditional meals, my expectations are high. Their salads looked exactly how my mom made them!! It's genuine and authentic, and I couldn't contain my excitement when I walked in. Also, they only charge $3.50 for Boba tea. It's incredibly hard to find great tea at reasonable prices, and the Green Apple Tea I got was SO good! I also ordered a falafel wrap, and it was so good I ended up finishing the entire thing (normally, I can only stomach a half portion in one meal). You can tell that the falafel was made fresh too :) If you haven't had the pleasure of visiting this small business yet, please consider it. You won't regret it!

The people here are all very nice. My family loves their chicken/beef kabob plates and we’ve been regulars for a long time now. They’re one of the better mediterranean eateries in San Diego in my opinion.

I just found this place and it’s really great. The food is fabulous. I had a Greek salad with salmon and it it was delicious, the lettuce was fresh and there were plenty of other veggies in there as well. I highly recommend you give this place a try, the people are accommodating and very friendly.

This was my first time eating here as a vegan and it is very close to my job so thought I’d try. I asked the lady assisting me what the vegan options were and decided on a crunch bowl with veggie as their falafel unfortunately is not vegan. It reminds me of el pollo locos taco salad it comes in a hard shell and has herb rice, lettuce, hummus, cucumber salad, and the vegetable skewer. For this and a drink it was $20 which imo is a little pricy. The food is just ok and I don’t think it is worth the price. I also don’t like how on the vegetable skewer it has what seems like Roma tomatos. It is a decent portion but the seasoning on the rice is a bit much. I only enjoyed the cucumber salad mainly. Service was good, I liked how the cashier was honest on her recommendations but there is no seating inside besides one table, Im assuming we are supposed to sit outside. Id rather go to LunaGrill a mile away, costs less and falafel is vegan and therefore more filling.Dietary restrictions: Vegan Options

I used Marketplace Grille to cater a funeral service. I appreciated the prompt service to pull together and deliver my order in a very short period of time. The food is also tasty and many guests asked where we catered from.

Not impressed with the food. Very very dry. Also ordering from their website was a nightmare. I ended up placing the order twice because I didn't think it went through. They never sent me an email confirmation that it was placed. So I was double charged and now I have a bunch of leftovers of this dry food I don't like. Baklava was also just okay.
