I would give this place zero stars but Yelp won't let me post my review If I don't. The owner has no civility and yells at his employees. He owns all the 3 restaurants here at the Hall of Justice and all 3 places suck! The food is below mediocre but overpriced . Go some place else, and avoid this place that serves tasteless food and zero customer service!

Not a good sign to Witness the owner mistreating their employees and yelling at the in front of paying customers. No civility whatsoever, I was in a government building otherwise I would have punch the punk on the face. Food was not that great either

I paid $15 for a small meal and it was so SMALL! Tastes horrible, my stomach hurts after that.

Quick and easy late night spot.Didn’t have a lot of time to sit and wait at a restaurant to eat, and luckily came upon this place and was able to walk in, grab a doner box with fries… it was fantastic, and allowed me to get back to my hotel and rest up for the next day. I didn’t have a long layover in San Diego so this was perfect. Most of the restaurants I stopped at in Gaslamp district, we’re really busy and required a 45 minute wait…This was on a weekend, and lots of activity going on so it made sense. So if you’re wanting some Mediterranean flavors and want to quick. This is very expensive and tastes great.

I have been going to this little food court since I started working for my company. There used to be a Subway, so I would either get Subway or the Mexican food. I was excited to see that they just opened this place so I wanted to give them a try. Let me start off with no introduction from the worker as I was waiting for him to finish up with the person for about a good 5 minutes. A courtesy "I'll be with you shortly, thanks for the wait" would have been nice. I was close to leaving and getting Mexican food instead but I wanted to give them a try. As I finally ordered, I looked at their food placement. It was similar to Panda Express, where the food is already precooked and put in a food warmer when ready to serve. I got the Gyro plate; he put a bed of rice and opened the tray of gyro meat and placed it on top; the meat didn't look warm. We then proceeded to the salad and the sides. He asked what side I wanted and I asked for the spicy hummus, however, he said "we're out, I'll give you what is left and you choose whatever else you want" So I asked for the cilantro hummus. I also got a drink from the small fridge. Together the total came to about $17. I felt that was pretty pricey but that is what Downtown gets you. I was going to take the food to work, but instead I ate there. And guess what, I was right...the meat was not warm at all and how he smothered the sauce on top..did not look appetizing. The Gyro tasted like it has been sitting there for a few hours. The salad was decent, the carrots were dry. And lastly, the hummus was pretty good, but the pita bread was cold and dry and tasted like it has been sitting out for a while. I was pretty upset about my lunch and most likely will not be coming back. If you're craving Mediterranean, I suggest going elsewhere. There is a Kabob Shop that is about 5 blocks away. Those who have jury duty, lunch is about an hour and a half...dont waste your money and walk around downtown for food that is worth $17.

This place is inside the hall of justice. It doesn't look like much but I was very happy with the flavorful plate I purchased. Well seasoned juicy chicken and good rice. The portion for the price was fantastic.

Found this spot inside of the food court inside of the Hall of Justice. There are two restaurants inside this being one of them (the other is a Mexican spot). A gyro plate ran in the $11 range. It was a pretty hefty plate with rice, gyro meat, hummus, and a side salad. Pita bread was packaged separately. I thought it was fairly good overall. The gyro was tasty and surprisingly the salad was very flavorful as well with the tomatoes, olives, onions, and the dressing. Downtown food and coffee will tend to be slightly more expensive. They gotta pay their rent too folks. The guy working the restaurant stand was polite and friendly.

For a place that calls itself Doner Mediterranean Grill, it makes the WORST Doners I have ever had anywhere in the world & I have tried many in many places including many places in Turkey. This lot have no idea & their food is not value for money for the small amount you get too. Disgusting! They then expect a tip for take out too! Don’t do it even if you are desperate. Get a sandwich from Subway instead. At least you know it will be edible. These Doners only belong being flushed down the toilet! AWFUL!
