Loved Mia Trattoria! Casual but cute place with a great selection of entrees. The bruschetta was wonderful for our appetizer and the puttanesca for my entree! Will definitely be coming back to this neighborhood spot in the future ☺️?

Spaghetti alle vongole and pesto linguine were excellent! Absolutely tasty and the best in San Diego. I love vongole and this place made me feel like I was having my pasta in Napoli! Love tiramisu and my strawberry sorbet. ?

This food is not great it tastes like something you would make at home and end up not eating because it didn’t come out good at all. I was only able to eat a couple bites and then decided just to not eat it.

Warm, friendly, authentic Italian restaurant. Excellent attentive, watchful service in a lovely space. The food was absolutely scrumptious, servings generous. Five stars all around.

The worst service in the world! I walked in and the place was empty. So, I decided to sit at this particular table. This old man who works in the bar had asked me to moved and sit in the corner instead. He said I would be taking up the whole table if I were to sit at this table. I told him "the place is empty and what's wrong with me sitting at this table?" With that being said, I loss my appetite and left the restaurant.

Best Italian restaurant we’ve eaten anywhere!! It sets the standard for all other Italian food and service and we can’t go anywhere else now. I’ve tried a lot (and I mean a lot) of filets and this was cooked to perfection and the flavor outstanding. It came with fettuccine with mushroom that was like none I’ve ever tasted. The fettuccine with marinara and meatballs were phenomenal. You can’t go wrong with any food here!! It was romantic and the staff friendly and prompt. We enjoyed meeting the owner. We will be back next time we are in SD.

My wife and I were so lucky to find this amazing and quaint Italian restaurant in the Hillcrest section of San Diego. Absolutely the best Italian restaurant we've ever been to. Everything about the restaurant was outstanding - food, ambiance, service, and background music. Started with a Caesar salad that was so delicious that I ate the entire salad even though it was large enough for two! The Chicken Parmigiano and pasta was the best I've ever had, though couldn't finish it and brought the leftovers home, which I devoured the next day. The background music included very recognizable tunes, though remade to cater to a restaurant setting. The staff was very attentive, and we thanked the owner for a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended.

I had their zuppa di pesce and was expecting not a lot of seafood, and then they brought out the biggest serving bowl/trough of soup! I laughed to my partner and said 'maybe it's two servings?!' - nope, it was one. This bowl was PACKED with fish, octopus, shellfish, and more. The octopus was grilled TO PERFECTION! It was not chewy. I wish I lived in San Diego. I'd be here once a week. My partner had their piccantina di pollo and basically licked his plate clean. The ambiance was very nice and the staff was lovely. I need more than five stars for this place. Best food in a long time!
