The food itself was over priced for what it was. We had order Mixed BBQ, Gyro plate, Tabbouleh, and Baba ganoush. All coming out to a total of $80+tip. I've spent way less and for more that actually tasted better. Another issue that had resulted in my low rating is the following food poisoning that had ensued throughout the night and morning. My wife, my MIL, and I were continuously finding ourselves emptying our stomachs both ways. Something had to have been contaminated in the food, as my son who didn't eat any Mediterranean was perfectly fine. Be weary of the dishes we got...

One of my favorite restaurants in SD. I have lived in SD for over 15 years and wish I had discovered this restaurant sooner. People who work there are very friendly. Food has never disappointed! I love their falafel wrap and in my opinion it is the best of those I have tried in SD. The hummus is incredible and 1000% worth it is an appetizer. We have also gotten the cheese and spinach bread and that is my wife's favorite on the menu. Chicken gyro and chicken kabob make outstanding plates and wraps. Finally, the baklava is made with pistachios and is top notch. There is more menu items to try in their charming informal space. I am very confident I will not be disappointed and love them. Six stars for Michoz! Keep up the great eating.

A no-frills, delicious Lebanese restaurant. The fatoush salad was fresh and full of delicious herbs. The baba ganoush was creamy, smoky and pretty perfect. The wraps were very good, but when I go back, I would definitely try more of the sides.

I'm shocked that this restaurant is still in business given the consistently poor experience I've had there. The 'lamb and beef' gyro and Adana are a total scam, they're essentially all beef with no hint of lamb. And don't even get me started on the weird addition of pickles to the wraps, completely untraditional and a failed twist on Mediterranean cuisine. To top it off, everything is overpriced and under seasoned. The soup, babaganoush, and meat all lacked flavor. I gave them three chances, thinking maybe they just had an off day, but nope, it was a disappointment each time.Save your money and go elsewhere, folks! This place is a disappointment and doesn't represent Lebanese cuisine well. Shame on you, Hillcrest community, for supporting such a subpar establishment!

This place deserves to be busy 24/7. The food is phenomenal and every bite is flavorful. I will 100% be back to this amazing place, The service was also superb and the beautiful young lady at the counter was very warm and friendly. Fantastic

Came here HUNGRY on a Saturday night. It was dead aka the place was empty. As we were leaving, two other couples came in. It was an okay time here. The service was impeccable. Super nice people. A bit soft spoken but sweet nonetheless. There's an inside and outside section. We opted for inside since it was a bit windy outside. The ambience wasn't anything spectacular. Just enough to feel at ease. Surprisingly with the kitchen being so close to where we were sitting, there wasn't any strong aromas in the air. We ordered two plates - a mixed grill and a lamb kabob. And one wine. The food came out super quick. I thought my lamb was solid. Maybe a tad bit dry. And the rice was cooked perfectly. The food wasn't hot which was a drawback. My partner's food was okay to me but she loved it. It's a lot of meat on the plate. So we counteracted it with a vegetable side dish (a side dish comes included in the plate). We had the Baba Ghanouj and the Fattoush. Both were excellent and I'd highly recommend both. There was a parking lot in the back. Not sure if it's connected to the restaurant or parking for the residents who live in the apartment complex in the back. Park at your own risk. Id give it a 3 star. My partner gave it a 3.5. It's a decent spot for Lebanese and open later than the rest. So that's a plus. I'd try it again.

I experienced exemplary service and hospitality at Micho’z. The beef shawarma plate was very tasty and seasoned well and paired very nicely with garlic labne. All in all a very nice and welcoming experience.Vegetarian options: There is falafel and many other dishes that contain no meat

Service was great. It's a convenient spot. Food was mediocre. The chicken was dry as was. A few of the other items on the sampler plate.

The lunch special is a great deal. Had it to go and enjoyed it on the back deck of my newest listing in town, but I could tell it would be a really nice place for dining in either indoors or on the patio ???
