I love Modrn Medicin! One of the owners Molly is always so helpful, sweet, and kind. The atmosphere here is so welcoming and you just feel comfy and at home the moment you want in to the moment you leave. I love going to yoga and then coming here and coworking, having a tea or cacao, and having girlfriend dates here! I also have the Mystic ceremonial cacao and the Magic adaptogen blend at home that I drink every week and it’s my favorite! There’s honestly nothing like it in San Diego!! ? Thank you team! Everything is so thought out and carefully curated! You’re all amazing! Highly recommend!!!

Great spot for drinks and food. Indoor and outdoor seating. The gals that work there are so nice and welcoming. There are some parking spaces out back. Overall really nice vibe.

Came out here one morning for some coffee; walking distance from my friend's place so it was pretty convenient. It wasn't busy during that Monday morning. They have a great space with plenty of tables and chairs. We didn't go outside but I believe they also have tables out in the back. This isn't your typical coffee shop; they have Ayurvedic lattes and super food type ingredients that they add to their drinks. Worth a try especially if you're into holistic health, etc.

I'm rating this from the standpoint of a "craft coffee" as this is what is stated on the front window in large letters. "Craft coffee" comes with a lot of meaning. There's an entire industry revolution and movement associated with this. The barista didn't know where the beans were from or anything about the roast profile. I ordered a flat white, which was definitely too hot, bordering on the edge of burnt milk. And the flavor of the beans was pretty awful. The quality of these beans was clearly quite poor. Ambiance was awesome! Very cool place and friendly staff. Which is why I still have 2 points. But from coffee standpoint.....

I will definitely be back to try more of this place! This is such a cute coffee shop with a different concept that makes it unique from others! First, the interior is super clean, cute and trendy. There's plenty of seating inside, but they also have a back patio that has a large amount of seating as well! My only concern is parking could be a challenge if you come at the wrong time of day, but there is plenty of side streets to park on! Service was amazing! Staff was super kind, helpful and patient. I like that they took the time to explain to us the benefits of the drinks and their ingredients and how everything was crafted with care. I came our knowing more than what I came in with. My mom and I had their Gluten Free Lemon Tart and I have to say, that was probably one of the best Lemon Tarts that I have ever had. It was fresh and refreshing! I liked that it wasn't overwhelmingly tart and sweet. I thought the balance was just right! And I'm very picky when it comes to their crust, and the crust was just right! No too thick but not too flakey! The Chocolate Zucchini muffin was really yummy@ Usually things with chocolatw tend to be rich, but this was just right! I had the Divine Feminine Latte and I really liked it! Originally this drink isn't caffeinated, but I got a shot of espresso and it was just right to keep me going through the day. I liked how it didn't leave an after taste like some other coffee do. It wasn't heavy either! This latte has a lot of floral elements to it but I'm not complaining because I was able to taste it and it was balanced really well. I will 100% be back to give this business my support. I love supporting woman owned businesses so you'll definitely catch me back here again!
