Very good food, customer service and portions. Most importantly for me, they clearly state vegan options!

Your menu has items that go well with chai. But your chai availability is so uncertain. That’s quite disappointing. Either have free one available all the time OR just charge for it. Please give me an option to always have it and don’t make it a surprise. I don’t know if I can come back with this

It’s tucked away in the shopping center so not immediately visible. It was mostly empty but we saw over a dozen people come for takeout orders. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return. Loved everything we ordered!

We live in RB and we probably go here around every 10 days at most. :) Everything tastes so fresh and flavorful, the appetizers are amazing and we have never been disappointed. I do like Indian food, though I have probably only been to around 10-15 other Indian restaurants overall. Desi is by far the best one I have eaten at - it's not even close. My favorites are the Gobi Manchurian appetizer, the Samosas, and the onion pakora.Never had anything but good service - super friendly and we are so very lucky to have them in RB.

I’ve gotten food 4-5 times hoping sometime will be good but it gets worse each time. Food is very bland (egg curry was missing salt, manchurian was half cooked) and the daal is just a bowl of cream - this is dal makhani which is suppose to be brown and it was just full of cream and looking white and didn’t have much lentils in it. The Vada Pav was decent in taste but the potato filling was ice cold from inside. Disappointed, will not be coming here again or suggesting to anyone.

The best Indian food in San Diego County!Had samosas and onion pakora. Delicious.Fish Tika Masala seasoned perfectly. The Paneer Khurchan was excellent! And the Saag Paneer the best we've had.Try the green chili naan! It will make you perspire and add exotic flavors all around.Good tap beer.Service was friendly and attentive.Excellent dining experience.

I recently tried out Natural Desi, a San Diego restaurant known for its authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine. I must say, I had a mixed experience overall.Starting with the appetizers, the chat menu at Natural Desi is quite impressive. I particularly enjoyed their panipuri, pav bhaji, and spring rolls. The flavors were well-balanced, and the panipuri was a burst of tangy goodness. The pav bhaji was rich and flavorful, while the spring rolls were crispy and filled with delicious fillings. These appetizers definitely set the tone for the meal and left me excited to try the main course.Speaking of the main course, I found it to be rather average. The paneer dish was decent, but it lacked that extra oomph that would have taken it to the next level. The baigan bharta, although well-cooked, tasted a bit bland and could have used some additional spices. The soya chaap, while a unique choice, was not very remarkable and left me wanting more in terms of flavor and texture. The ambiance of Natural Desi is pleasant, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth dining experience. The service was prompt, and the waitstaff was helpful in suggesting menu items. In conclusion, Natural Desi is a decent Indian restaurant in San Diego, particularly known for its delicious chaat options such as panipuri, pav bhaji, and spring rolls. However, when it comes to the main course, the dishes like paneer, baigan bharta, and soya chaap fall short in terms of flavor and excitement. It might not be the top choice if you are looking for an extraordinary dining experience, but it can still satisfy your cravings for Indian snacks and appetizers.

We love the variety of dishes, some with a twist that taste fresh and have consistent quality. Food is not overly creamy, does not feel heavy after eating which, unfortunately is the case with many North Indian style restaurants. One of our favorite places to get a bite of Indian flavors in San Diego. Try a few times to sample the dishes...especially vegetarian platter in appetizers and the Indo Chinese soup and noodles.

Amazing Indian food. Found one more gem in San Diego for good Indian food.Visited this restaurant for lunch last week during a weekday. We ordered vadapav, pav bhaji, paneer khurchan and spicy potatoes. Could not have been better on taste and service. The vadapav was really soft and of perfect spice level. Spicy potatoes are basically potato fries sauteed in onions and sauces. The staff is super friendly and the location is also very convenient in Rancho Bernardo. They have created a nice desi vibe by putting an autorikshaw front in one corner along with lot of posters with desi phrases. Also on one side they have hung lights in tea pot shaped lamp shades. Really unique and authentic. Will surely visit again.
