Nekter Juice Bar was a great way to start the day with a nourishing meal. I had the plain Acai Mango Bowl. There was a generous amount of fresh fruit and the acai blend on the bottom was just right. I really liked the variety of textures with fruit, granola and large pieces of shredded coconut. We ordered online and when we arrived at the store there were a few customers that were served before us even though they arrived and ordered after we were physically there. Not sure how the line works when you order online. Definitely plan to go back and taste new bowls.

Today I ordered on the mobile app, and from the time I ordered to the time I got down to downtown La Jolla (5 mins) my sick two month old had fallen asleep. I drove up and noticed the store was empty'. I called and politely explained my situation and asked would you mind terribly just running it out to my car (I was directly in front of the store). The lady on the phone said no we don't so curbside and I said I totally understand and would come in if it wasn't going to wake my new born but please I'm right here, a moment later she said fine. She then came out and said my manger wanted me to tell you " we don't do curbside this was a one time only thing and will not happen again" and handed me my little bag and walked away. I looked at her and said okay, well thank you. I completely understand that they don't do curbside. But when you have a business in a small town and your store is empty... why make it a big deal. I could have easily gone to parakeet cafe and they would have happily ran it out to me. I had a smoothie and an açaí bowel it wasnt a huge order and the whole thing took two seconds... and the store was empty! Anyways from one mom to the next mom/dad or family... this really rubbed me the wrong way.

This place needs a happier vibe. Everyone seemed so uptight, no smiles. And why does it take 15 minutes to juice greens? I would have given a 2 stars if it didn't taste good. I'd come back juice was great; but staff may need to detox or something. Flush out the junk..Enjoy where you work or find something else.

probably 0 stars if I could. came in for a juice, wasn't greeted or anything just looked at. had to literally stand there and wait for the person to take my order after I approached her first and said hello? ordered, then just got a "it'll be up shortly." not sure how the play goes here and how would they know who's drink is who's? but whatever. got called for one of the drinks I ordered, and didn't really hear it but then asked again if it was that drink I ordered and all the person behind the bar did was point backwards to their handoff plane. couldn't have just said it'll be right behind me or verbally said something why the need to point? everyone seems so upset here but to certain people so happy? I guess that's the vibe. lemme just go back to jamba

This place is so delicious and the staff is so friendly! I ordered the Toxin Flush and it was perfect for after having had coffee already as a pick-me-up beverage. Would come back!

The 3 different bowls we got were good and tasted as expected. However the staff was incredibly disorganized and slow - we waited nearly an hour for our orders. So be sure to bring a LOT of patience with you.

Really appalling customer service, the lady serving me had a thick Spanish (?) accent, did not have a name tag on so I do not know her name. She was acting very rude and truly so unprofessional I am planning to contact nektar's corporate customer service about this because the experience was unwarranted. The wait time is also horrendous, maybe the workers need to go through better training in manners and skills. Bad customer service!! I go to other Nektar juice bars but never had such a bad experience in my life

The juice I ordered was okay, but the service was so atrocious I would never set foot in this establishment again. I was greeted by a lovely juice girl, but unfortunately a man who appeared to be a managing staff was vile to his employees. I waited TOO long for my drink, not because the employees weren't doing their job, but because this male managing staff was too busy yelling at them instead of allowing them to do their job. It was completely unprofessional to see a grown man yelling at these poor young girls just trying to do their job. That environment is so unwelcoming, and I felt terrible buying a drink from an establishment that allows such harassment of their employees. Also, it was overpriced!

Huge mistake. The service is super slow because they're also making drinks for the sit-down restaurant across the street. I waited over 30 minutes because I didn't want to be rude but then it turned out they hadn't even started on the drinks.
