The food at Nine-Ten is amazing. We had their sashimi to start and it was full of flavor and a lovely touch of acidity. We had the duck as an entree, which came with a pretty decent amount of meat, and asparagus and mushrooms on the side. I'm definitely not doing it justice in the description but it was delicious and filling. Not my favorite duck I've ever had but still tasted great. My favorite part was their half baked chocolate cake. It was the perfect cherry on top of a great meal.

We had such a fantastic meal here on our short trip to SD. - Snap pea salad: This was recommended by our server because we were on the fence between this and the asparagus salad. It definitely felt like a Spring dish. - Lamb loin: I'm usually not a fan of lamb because it tastes too earthy to me. However, my husband convinced me to get it to share, and I'm somewhat glad he did. On one hand, it was very delicious and made me rethink how I feel about lamb. On the other, how can I ever eat it anywhere else when Nine-Ten made it so perfectly delicious? The restaurant can get quite loud, but we didn't mind it too much. We enjoyed the ambiance and felt our server was friendly and attentive. Can't wait to visit again!

Funny to read these super long and detailed reviews. Anyone giving less than 5 stars are wannabe food critics who never worked in a kitchen. This place is good. It's expensive but worth it. Did the chef tasting menu with the wine pairing and it's exactly what to expect from a Michelin recommended restaurant. Food is great. Wine was great. Wait staff was great.

This place is truly an icon. We've experience Chef Knibbs talent creating new American cuisine with an elegant twist. Service is excellent thanks to our server Chris . Highly recommend this restaurant .

There's a huge difference between expensive meals and expensive meals that are memorable in a great way. Our dinner for two- one drink each and sharing desert-with tip was $250. Yet it's all good because every part of the meal was excellent and or perfect. I will continue to dine here when want or need a great meal with perfect service

Dinner was amazing. Staff were so friendly and attentive. We started with the Cacio e Pepe and the Jerk Pork Belly. Both were delicious. The pork belly was so good and a must order. For dinner we had the ribeye and halibut, which was the night's special. Both were fantastic and well balanced. Such a nice meal!

There's not much to say about Nine-Ten other than it's outstanding. Every visit has been top-notch. The food is so good. I'd recommend the hamachi sashimi, ahi crudo, Jamaican jerk pork belly, Parker rolls, black cod, lamb, and ribeye... you can't go wrong with anything here. The service and staff are wonderful. Nice cocktails. Valet or street parking.

My dining experience at this establishment was a mix of highs and lows. The Little Gem salad showcased a harmonious blend of flavors, while the Grilled Prime Ribeye stood out for its excellent preparation and balanced fat content. The Duck dish was equally impressive in its execution. However, the Pan-Roasted Black Cod fell short, as it was overcooked and lacked the desired flakiness. Moving to desserts, the S'mores failed to meet expectations with its light cream and subtle chocolate, though the Pineapple Sorbet provided a refreshing conclusion. Overall, while the restaurant delivered on some fronts, inconsistencies in execution detracted from an otherwise enjoyable meal. It served as a memorable outing for our Canadian guests experiencing American cuisine for the first time.

With all the very good restaurants to chose from in La Jolla, this one is not always the first in mind for many foodies, however my last three dining experiences here has changed that perception for me and it is now one of my favorites in town. For the first course we shared the gnocchi, cacio et Pepe, and the little gem cesaer salad. All three of us were wowed with the great flavor of each. Oh, and don't forget the piping hot Parker roll to enjoy with drinks before the food arrives. Next course, two of us had the black cod and One had the jerk chicken. The cod was a different preparation than my guests were expecting and not truly as good as the first course choices. My chicken was excellent. It was a birthday celebration and we were treated to 2 excellent desserts, the warm lava chocolate cake( best we ever had) and the Meyer Lemon semi freddo was scary delicious. We will be back!!

Our 2nd time at None-Ten for dinner and everything was amazing. We had the Jamaican Jerk Pork Belly which was mouth-watering. The Cacio E Pepe PEPE was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Grilled Prime Ribeye was very delicious.

Despite being a hotel restaurant (or as a part of a hotel), the food was terrific. The service was great and the quality of food from appetizers to the main course was amazing. I don't want to say I was surprised as I had heard 910 was a great destination for food, but I guess I should say I was reassured based on what we ordered and ate that this place is pretty amazing.

Amazing spot for fancy dinner. Husband and I visited on our honey/baby moon. Our server was quite friendly and knowledgeable about the wine pairing my husband had with our chefs menu, 8 course meal. We did specify that I could not have raw/undercooked seafood or unpasteurized cheese - which our server was aware of and confirmed. Not sure the kitchen got the memo as 2 of the courses (salmon and cheese) as that was just what they had on the menu. Food was delightful overall, extremely well put together/presented.

This is our favorite restaurant. We've been coming here for several years now and it just gets better and better. It never disappoints. There was a wedding party in the bar that accounted for the high noise level, but it was bearable and it made for a lively atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.
