Came here a few months ago in January. This place is really cool, the atmosphere is awesome and the dealer's choice menu is great for when you want to try something new. This place has everything going for it if you want a fun night out for some drinks. Except our experience was ruined by a rude bartender. For context, I have a tree nut allergy. Usually places are good about asking or making it clear on the menu. I was not really thinking about this because I have never been served a drink with tree nuts in it.First warning sign, the bartender taking our order seemed agitated. She interrupted us multiple times in a rude manner. Whatever, we order and get our drinks. The bartender says my drink has an almond liquor in it and I'm allergic to tree nuts. No big deal, just make a new drink, right?Wrong, the bartender gets upset and claims she asked if I had any allergies in a really rude way, as if it was fully my fault. I asked if I can get a new drink, it was just a mistake and I didn't hear her ask. Nope, she says to just switch me and my girlfriend's drinks, which completely defeats the purpose of the whole "describe what you want" part of ordering. Obviously my girlfriend wanted the drink she ordered, and I was going to push back but decided it wasn't worth making a scene over and just switched our drinks. I don't think the customer is always right, but when it comes to an allergy that might be deadly is it worth it to be so rude instead of spending 1 minute remaking a drink? The drinks were good, but I was upset so my good mood was completely ruined (on our anniversary, by the way). My girlfriend and I both agreed we never hear the bartender ask for any allergies. I listened while she was taking the order of the table next to us, and the same bartender very quickly said "tell me if you have any allergies" then promptly continued her speel. Not yes or no, just an open ended question. Anytime a server asks about allergies it should always be a "yes" or "no" question. This place is kind of loud and it's hard to hear. What if I have bad hearing or wasn't paying attention? Even if it was a mistake on my part, just fix it and move on instead of being a jerk about it?We finished our drink and left. We originally planned to stay longer but obviously the bartender ruined it.

The fun of having dealers choice, having a bartender choose a unique beverage based on your personal drink preferences is a must try to venture outside of comfort zones for cocktail

On our wedding day, my wife and I wanted unique experience amongst the local speakeasies, we found Noble Experiment with ornamented walls of bronze skulls and a bar with no menu. We went for the atmosphere, but we’re coming back for the bar. Sierra was our mixologist and after a quick conversation made two amazing drinks for us. Thank you!

A classic San Diego staple, Noble experiment has a very intimate speakeasy vibe with a dark moody interior with the signature eclectic consortium style. There are no menus, you just tell the bartenders what you like and they'll curate a drink to fit your desires. The perfectionism of the bar staff is fabulous. If they make your drink and they aren't satisfied with it, they'll dump it and start anew. As a patron, I sincerely appreciate the commitment to crafting not just an ok drink, but a perfect one. While you can do a walk up, it is highly recommended to make a reservation. Pros: fantastic ambience, high quality and creative cocktails, stays true to the speakeasy experience. Cons: Wait on the weekend can be long if you don't have a reservation! Make a reservation if you can! TLDR; extremely high quality and creative cocktails, great date night spot

What a fantastic experience! Was lucky enough to get a reservation for me and my colleagues in the hidden back room/sleepeasy. Loved the custom cocktail design the bartender provides. A must go!

service was awful. Drinks were great. wish I could go back because the drinks were really good. However, starting from the beginning, the hostess was very rude. We waited for an hour and 45 minutes for the table and they would not let us sit because 2 people were in line for the 30 minute bathroom. This was okay, but the hostess was very rude about the fact that we were not snappy after our reservation text. Next, the waiter took our drink order and brought us great drinks perfect for each person. I was nervous but very shocked for the good drinks. Rest went poorly. We got in trouble for taking one picture of their wall even though we were not informed about their "no flash" rule. Everyone was rude & judgy. The place was honestly over hyped. It was very small & had a 60 minute rule for how long u could be there. Our whole group was ready to leave after one drink. Will not be going back & even though I was very excited to try the place. disappointed.

The service was terrible. The hostess was incredibly rude to not only my party but other parties as well. The bartender made us feel uncomfortable and was grossly impolite. Not worth the money. Very over hyped and your time and money are best spent elsewhere.

The service was terrible. The hostess and bar tenders were extremely rude. Not worth the $ or wait to have that awful of an experience. You can enjoy a drink/food at the neighborhood but are better off leaving after that & spending your $ elsewhere. Extremely disappointing experience.

The coolest speakeasy that transport you to Paris from the wall of skulls (replica of the Catacombs) to the mural and chandelier on the ceiling. The service was 10/10 too! There's no menu. You describe what you like and they come back with a creation. Our waitress memorized all 6 of our orders and came back to recite everything we asked for + describe what's in each drink that she made for us. Truly so impressive and so good! With the same description (rum, sweet, shaken) I got two completely different drinks and they were both amazing.
