Ordered a small açaí bowl with lots of toppings and peanut butter. Came out to $20…which is fine but some of the fruit wasn’t fresh (slimy and looked like it came from a can), and the açaí was wayyyyy too sweet. They also didn’t put the peanut butter in it even though I was charged for it. Super bummed because of the good reviews. Too sweet and too expensive, will have to keep trying around.

Very unremarkable. The açaí was sweetened, which I didn’t care for, and the amount of actual açaí and granola that we got in our bowls was disappointing for $15 each.The service was pleasant, but that’s not enough in itself to return.

This is hands down the best acai bowl I've ever had. I've been coming here for years now, and everyone that I bring here expresses the same feeling. Their smoothies are also incredible, so try their whole menu!

Really great all natural fresh smoothies and fruit bowls! Very popular with the locals, I will definitely seek out a location next time I'm in SoCal.No inside seating though. Walk-up window or order ahead. They were making online orders even before their window opening time.Vegetarian options: Mostly vegetarian. Some things with milk and milk alternatives
This place is delicious! Get the coconut base and load up the bowl with everything! There’s so much fruit that they give you an extra plate for it. Bring your bowl and walk along the bay after for some beautiful views of the city!Dietary restrictions: The coconut bowl is dairy free!
I paid extra for peanut butter and they forgot it. That one hurt considering I paid $20 for an Açaí bowl!

Don't miss these bowls! They are delicious and served with great customer service. Pamela and the team at Northside Shack were awesome! I wanted to do a big order for a bachelorette party and they were so helpful! The ordering process was easy, she made sure I had everything I needed and even opened up early to give me my order. The bowls and smoothies were delicious and the entire group was pleased with the quality of the bowls (taste and aesthetics). I will definitely come back next time I visit the area!

I ordered a small acai bowl, and it was delicious! I opted for a coconut and açaí swirl base and it didn't disappoint. The workers here are all super friendly and welcoming, and it was easy to build my ideal bowl because they offer so many items! Everything is cut fresh, so be prepared to wait a few minutes. I didn't mind this, and boy was it worth the wait. The bowl was OVERFLOWING with fruit - they do not skimp you at all. I was pleasantly surprised by this, and it also makes sense since they are $15. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because I had to dump out half of the fruit to eat it proportionally to my acai. It felt overwhelming filled with fruit, but this is a good problem to have!
