The crust is good but the cheese is chewy and rubbery. I’ve tried it twice cause I really wanna like it… please get new cheese! Garlic knots are amazingly good!

This place took over the spot of NY Pizzeria so there was a lot to live up to and my review is based on comparing this pizzeria to what it replaced. First off this spot is owned by the Mexican restaurant next door so there's some synergy there, adding discounts if you order from the order but that's not really a bonus. They offer a deal of 2 slices and a soda for $10 only before 3pm. If you know anything about pizzerias here, you know that this offer isn't really an offer, it's a upcharge. NY Pizzeria had the same deal for $7 and no time limit. You can get this deal in downtown for $5! There's no excuses for this. Quality of the pizza. Bad. My go to is a white and you can hardly taste anything but the horrendous quality of ricotta they put on. I ended up throwing the slice. The pepperoni was a lot better but it's still a bad quality pizza with not much sauce, very little cheese but hard to tell that with so much pepperoni on the pizza which is the only saving grace. The ambiance is a mixed bag. It's the same as it was before but all the chairs advertise the Mexican restaurant next door including the menu. This place doesn't know if it wants to be a pizzeria or a Mexican restaurant and tries to blend both which just makes it look confusing. Overall I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. You're better off driving to Sbarro down the street at the mall which says a lot.

At first I was excited to try this new pizza shop since I had seen it on Instagram and it looked really good but unfortunately our visit to this establishment was not the best experience. During my visit I had ordered a deep dish pizza and waited approximately 30 minutes until I noticed a family that came after us got served first. At first I thought they might've just ordered over the phone. But I could then over hear the cashier talking to kitchen staff about how he had accidentally handed my pizza to someone else. The cashier came up to my girlfriend and I to inform us that there was a "mixup with our order" the cashier stated that the kitchen had apparently made the wrong pizza, but he was clearly lying to my girlfriend, and I because we could clearly see that the table next to us had gotten our pizza and we could even over hear them talking about how they were handed the wrong pizza. Kitchen staff then attempted to serve me their lie by saying I could have the pizza they made on "accident" honestly at this point they were just trying to get rid of that families pizza since they had given them mine. At that point, I had lost my appetite due to the lack of respect this establishment has for its customers. I wish they would've just been honest and stated that they had given my pizza away to the wrong person instead of creating a lie and trying to serve me a pizza that they were trying to get rid of. I will say I do appreciate one of the staff members attempting to reconcile by giving me a refund and a pizza but I'm sorry at that point I had lost my appetite. Hopefully in the future, I might be able to have a better visit.

I went in there because they've been blasting the Bonita neighborhood blog saying they have such high quality, to go try them, that it is actual real NY pizza. So, I went in... it was a very odd experience! I get there and there's a person ordering in front of me so I start making line behind, when the person completes their order, I approach the cashier and say hi with a smile... this lady just turned around, and starts wiping the counter behind her as if I don't exist. I initially thought that maybe she didn't hear me, so I waited for her to finish what she was doing and come back to the register (by the way it's a tiny space), when she was done, I made sure I increased the volume of my voice and said hi again and smiled, she looked at me and gave me her back. A guy in the kitchen saw this and jumped in, he came to the other register and asked if I've been helped...I said thank you for taking my order, and I ordered a couple of slices to go... when my receipt gets printed, this guy starts reading the receipt in meticulous detail to find the tip section and see how much tip I am leaving! How much tip can you leave for $10 dollars? $1-$2 at the most? Which I had left even though I was just getting grab and go! I thought it was the rudest customer service I have ever received! I was not pretentious, mean, or gave any bad energy ... I am neither smelly, badly dressed or anything like that to be treated this way! So, I guess I look like someone they don't like or something! Anyway... I thought that maybe the product would have the me give them another chance but even though the pizza is NY style in shape; the dough is not good, the top was extremely greasy and salty, and just not good at all according to my taste buds. What a let down! I would not return, nor recommend.
