Can't say I was impressed. Service was lacking. The lady who was working seemed to be the owner who had to come in on her day off. She was busy talking to her regular customer instead of greeting and taking orders. None of the fruit flavored teas were available. I tried the black sesame latte. It was weird and gritty. Would not order that again. Orange blossom latte was more cinnamon than anything else. My husband wasn't a fan but he said my black sesame latte recalibrated his tastebuds haha. Taro milk tea was good and honey latte we tried iced and hot because she made the wrong one so we ended up with both. I liked the hot better. By far the best flavor we had. We had some treats as well. The coconut almond cake was very nice but citrus loaf was kind of dry and flavorless, I've had better.

This place is wonderful. Quick service, delicious drinks, and yummy sweets. It also gives a very communal vibe - as a newcomer, I can tell folks come here often with how chatty folks are and the interactive relationship the owner has with them. I love the small community vibe. My favorite drink is the pandan latte. As someone that is absolutely in love with pandan and wishes more place had it, I was so excited to see this place does. And it's a perfect balance. Not too sweet or too light. My favorite treat here has to be the coconut almond cake. It's gluten free, decadent, and heaven in your mouth. The coconut taste is very strong, which I personally love. I ended up buying the whole set one day for a friend's event and it was a major hit with my GF friends.

Really like the pandan latte, it was well balanced and not overly sweet. The place is set up on a corner of a building in kind of an interesting spot. Seating is outside and there's a decent amount of seating. I would come back and try the banana milk cold brew.

Best drinks in town! Perfectly balanced. Everything is hand made by the owner. Baked goods are incredible and all made by the owner.The preparation is meticulous and measured so you pay a little more and wait a little longer but definitely worth it!I recommend the hazelnut latte with macadamia milk and the scones... Omg

Wow didn't know I needed this place this badly in my life. Always drive by and hit it with the typical "aw that place looks cute" and decided to stop in one day while I was in the neighborhood. Cute minimal looks with fantastic drinks and pastries. Also use my favorite oat milk for all their bevs. Owner said it wasn't originally meant to serve pastries but good lord I'm glad it does. Excited to be near the same neighborhood as this treasure.

Mai’s coffee shop is the best!! Such a kind and welcoming atmosphere, too. Don’t skip out on the homemade almond coconut cake, she makes it herself and it’s phenomenal.
Ambiance -- cozy, small place with lots of outdoor seating (dog friendly) The barista was very friendly, and you won't feel rushed looking at their menu (lots of flavor options) Don't forget to get a chocolate chip cookie :) or any of their baked goods

While the place is beautiful and both the pastries and coffee are delicious, the lack of service is unfortunate. This problem is frequent as other reviews mention it and personally this is not the first time I experience feeling ignored and unwelcome at this establishment by the owner and employees.
