Wow, the best Italian food I have had outside of Italy. We ate here 4 hours ago and I’m still thinking about the meal.

I grew up eating in the North End Boston and this was better! Even better than the pasta I had in Italy. Amazing food!!

I cannot explain or describe how perfect the meal was. The most authentic Italian food I've ever had. The owners were amazing and I will definitely be making this one of my stops in San Diego!

This was one of my favorite dining experiences I have ever had. It’s so intimate in there that it just felt like one big family dinner. I loved the BYOB, allowed us to get more dishes and try more since we didn’t have to pay for drinks. The staff was so helpful and kind.THE. FOOD. Oh my god. We recently got back from Italy and this place is LEGIT. The focaccia alone was incredible, and that was just the beginning. We got the wild bear Bolognese, the gnocchi, and the beef ravioli special. It was all completely unreal. It’s a can’t miss in San Diego, we will be back

First time: 8 tables in a 16x16 room makes for a homey but noisy dining experience. Had to lip read with partner and waitstaff. Everyone brought their own wine, wish I had known they didnt have a liquor license. Foccaccia bread was perfect: salty, perfect crumb, drizzled in EVOO. Pizza with burrata and prosciutto was also delish, hot crispy and well-executed. Spaghetti with tomato sauce and seafood was disappointing. Undersauced almost to being dry, nothing to mop up with bread. Mussels were small and shrimp was not cleaned of appendages or deveined, and was either grossly over-cooked or pre-cooked and added at the end: really dry and flavorless. Too bad, given the abundance of great seafood in SD in January. Should substitute some fish chunks instead of the awful shrimp.

We’ve been wanting to go here for a while and finally made it. It was fantastic, it feels like your in a living room, very home-y feeling. Service was great and the pasta was fantastic. Can’t wait to come

The owner was wonderful with our rambunctious 2 year old. The focaccia was pillowy crunchy bits of heaven. The ricotta gnocchi was my favorite but the mussels and the pizza were incredible. I felt like I was in Italy. What a gem!Kid-friendliness: Wonderful staff for kids-plenty of kid friendly options on the menu.

DELICIOUS How!! Super authentic Italian Meal! the grilled fish was awesome... And the pasta salad with salmon, magnificent... the bread was to write home about. Francesca and Sara provided great service, super friendly and got us everything we need. We will definitely come back. I

You can't outdo authentic Italian food, The ambiance is simple but cozy, The menu is small with a lot of different options for your taste, from oxtail, to whole fish, and the food is impeccable. You can bring your own beverages as they do not serve wine ( no cork fee). Space can be limited, so reservations help. Definitely coming back again.
