Overrated. At the time of our visit, this location had 4.5 stars across 2.4K reviews. We ordered the smoked fish tacos, grilled shrimp tacos, shrimp and steak rice plates, guacamole and chips. The tacos had way too much shredded cabbage which resulted in mouthfuls of dry and bland tacos. The shrimp was small (in comparison to other taco joints). We had 8 people in our party and surprisingly not a single person enjoyed their dish. The service was fine (the cashier was nice and gave us a complimentary sample of the fish stew). Atmosphere is a no frills taco joint. Honestly, we really wanted to like this place, but the food was overhyped and the experience under delivered.

Arrived at 12:45 on Sunday, 4/14. Waited 30 minutes to order, then waited another 30 minutes for the food. So if you're in a time crunch, consider this before going.That said, the staff was working hard and was friendly. And the smoked fish tacos were delicious. I look forward to eating here again.Parking: Parking near the shop is difficult as the restaurant is near the beach and alongside several other shops. You may have to park a few blocks away.

The food was fantastic! We've been here several times. Last time they were out of almost a third of the menu items, but they had plenty of delicious options available.
Our favorite spot in PB! The potato chorizo taco is insane, burritos are huge, and the crispy fish taco is quintessential San Diego! Lots of space to sit and service always moves quickly even when busy!

Oscars offers fantastic seafood tacos! We tried the tuna adobado, shrimp & bacon, octopus, and fish tacos, all bursting with freshness and flavor. The staff was friendly and attentive, readily addressing any inquiries, and the service was prompt. With a dog-friendly outdoor seating area, it's a great spot for enjoying delicious tacos! Highly recommended!
