Impossible to get in contact with anyone who works here. Weird automated system for phone calls that directs you to a line that no one picks up. Very frustrating. They delivered our pizza to the wrong address and we can’t even contact anyone to fix it.

I love their pizza. It has a cheese crust which is good and I love it when it has a cheese crust. I feel like this is the pizza restaurant I like best.

I called placed an order went in to pick up no mention of there weird policy were they don't accept any bill bigger than a 20 it's 2 in the afternoon I walked in with a 50 and walked out empty handed employees seemed checked out and didn't care horrible place

This papa John's only has 2.5 stars so if you're reading this you already know it's bad. Been here twice because the Mira Mesa location closed down. Won't be surprised if that's the outcome for this location. First time I ordered delivery and it was "delivered" and we never received it. Delivered by "Patrick". Patrick I hope you enjoyed your free pizza, liar. Stupid part is nowhere on the receipt or confirmation email does it show the address you submitted to them, so you're basically trusting a bunch of high schoolers that they brought it to the right house which was our first mistake. Second time ordering we ordered online for carry out. We chose a later time to pick it up, and they sent a confirmation email and they made it right away. Nowhere in the email or receipt does it verify the time we requested to pick it up. I called for clarification as to what happened and was met with an answer equivalent to a shrug of the shoulders. When I came in at a way later time to pick it up, I was met with an employee who did give me the cold pizza with a large side of attitude because she voided it out already. I never even asked her to void it out, I just told her I would figure it out. I even offered to pay AGAIN, and was met with attitude. Pretty sure her name was Tiffany. She was the worst. Pretty much just made me feel like trash for inconveniencing her with something I never even asked her to do. You're lucky Mira Mesa closed, but we won't be coming back.

I ordered my pizza online ahead of time for 4pm. I got to the store location at 4:05pm, i told the lady at the front desk with a fade and purple hair that i was there for pick-up, asked for my name and said she didn't have anything. I told her i ordered it online and she gave me a blank stare, i proceeded to tell her that it was 3 pizzas. She turned around then to see 3 pizzas sitting there with my name on it. Said "oh, there it is". She seemed very bothered by me being there and didn't seem very knowledgeable on how to properly check for someone's pizza that was ordered online. Lazy

Friends over, pizza's ordered ... Two, yes - 2 hours - 2 hours later and MANY MANY calls to Papa Johns Pizza. WTH. No pizzas !!!!! Quote from Papa Johns employee: "After figuring it out, the Door Dash driver didn't have an apartment number so he left". WTH!! We ordered and gave our apartment number and phone number and NO phone calls to ask again... not one phone call. Papa Jones employees just dismissed this issue until I personally went into Papa Jones (IN-PERSON) the next dayNo apologies, nothing !!!Do I think Papa Johns Pizza and the Door Dash employee's enjoyed our pizzas on my tab - absolutely!!!!!!!! Because Papa Johns employees just blew the issue off for two - yes 2 hours while our family and friends just waited for our food that WE paid for !!!!!Ranch Bernardo - Track your pizzas carefully !!!!!!!!!!!! And hopefully they will NOT ever use Door Dadh again. Pap Johns needs to employ their own drivers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!DOOR DASH DRIVER - Stay at home and please stay unemployed. Very disappointing -

You always know what you’ll get with Papa John’s Pizza. It’s a good thing, but it lacks the small, local shop feel. If you want pizza and cheese sticks, then here you go.
