Terrible attention from the girl who was there on April 4th around 11am, I had been wanting to try something from this place for some time, the taste of what I ordered, although I didn't totally like it, wasn't that unpleasant either, but the This girl's service and attention leaves a lot to be desired, at least for me, for my part I will not return?? it would be prudent to hire trained personnel for customer service, in the end sometimes we return not only for the taste, but for the attention!! !

The sweetness of the milk tea cannot be adjusted. It is very sweet and does not taste very good. It is even more expensive than the pearl milk tea sold in chain stores. I will not come back for a second visit.

I don't go to this outlet often but if I go a stop at this kiosk is a must. Their pastel de nata are as delicious as the ones I tried in Portugal. Usually I get 5 for my husband and I, I would get more but I need to restrict myself as it is hard to stop once you eat one. I'm so glad we have somewhere in San Diego where we can get these pastries.

I bought the taro and my friend bought the black sugar milk tea and the truth is it wasn't very good, I feel like it tasted very bad, it didn't have much flavor.

I suggest this place to everyone! One of my favorite places in San Diego. You won't be disappointed. :-)

This place is incredible! The Pastel De Nata is one of the best things since ICE CREAM! The service is incredible and the vibe is always welcoming. I would suggest this place to everyone!

Freshly made pastries, with one of a kind taste and flavor. The owner is passionate about his product, and genuinely cares about having great customer relations. There are no shortcuts, and the service is always quick and kind. Thank you, Pastel de Nata!

Why are these hidden at the border??? Please bring them up north!! Absolutely Best Portuguese egg tarts ever! Soooooooo good. Totally unexpected from a kiosk at the mall.

My daughter and I saw that this place offered Boba, so we stopped to get drinks. I got a Thai Tea with boba and she got a Mocha Iced Coffee with boba. When they made the drinks, they had us wait at the cash register. I could see that the drinks were pretty much already pre-made as the server poured them into our drinks. No blender sounds, barely any mixing. The boba tasted and consisted of texture that seems like it was at least a few days old. The drinks were okay, but my daughter thinks she got food poisoning from her drink. I drank from her drink too, later, and without knowing she had food poisoning and then I had issues. So we're 98% sure it was her drink that caused these issues. We will not be going back here.

My only regret…not buying more! It’s 2 for $6, 5 for $12 or 12 for $22. We got 5.I’ve had the original Portuguese egg tart in Lisbon and in Macau. This is my first in San Diego and it tastes just as good.Portuguese egg tart crusts are made out of puff pastries while Chinese egg tarts are made out of shortcrust casing like a cheesecake crust. The puff pastries makes it flaky and less doughy. The custard is also less eggy and more creamy in the Portuguese version.I also got the Macau Dolgona coffee no boba with half and half. So good! Must try. You have to really stir to mix it all. This kiosk stand is literally between Gap and Banana Republic, more so towards Gap. Make sure to eat it when it’s warm and it takes like 3 bites.

Well hello Tarts! Let me just say I came across this place after doing some shopping at the outlets. How in the world have I not heard of this place. immediately ordered 5 tarts and wished I had gotten more. They are delicious, warm and crispy. I was very lucky to live in Europe and was able to visit Portugal and try the real Pasteis de Nata. So I can confirm that these taste almost the same. Next time I'm going to get 12 and a few to eat there.

The Portuguese tarts here are super authentic and taste just as good as the ones I get in Macau! You "have" to buy more than 2, trust me..it's worth it! The dozen is the best deal and I literally want to eat all of them I'm one sitting . You can ask them to warm up the ones you're eating right away and keep the others room temp so you can rebake/reheat at home. These tarts have a super flaky crust and a creamy middle with the perfect amount of "burnt" on top. Staff here are also very friendly!
