If you're in San Diego this place is a definite stop. In a time of hipster restaurants this place is a throwback to the old days. I recommend the ham steak & eggs with biscuit & gravy. We definitely will be back.

I have always seen this place from the old town transit center. Excited to stop in today and was glad I did. Ordered two eggs, home fries and toast. Kept it simple. The food was great and the service was perfect. I don't use that term loosely as customer service has gone way down since covid at most places. Was pleasantly surprised how great the service was and the food was excellent. Good value too.

Found Perry's Cafe while lost near Old Town San Diego. It's kind of a dive from the exterior and the interior is really dated. However it was clean and no foul odors.Perry's is primarily a breakfast place and the plates I saw on tables while walking to the table looked delicious. So I ordered lunch, a club sandwich. It was huge. Made with thick bacon and real sliced turkey, not the deli kind. Everything about this sandwich was very delicious. The server was excellent. Nothing beats a good server. She made the meal a memory.

This cute little restaurant has plenty of parking and many more reasons to stop by! I tried the Deluxe Frittata and it was absolutely delicious, it has mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and sausage. I appreciated that everything was cooked before adding the egg. I opted for hash browns which were just the right amount of crispy ? for my choice of bread I went with a fluffy just right blueberry muffin! Great ? friendly service and the food came out really fast. Coming back to try their French toast, pancakes and waffles all looked delicious ?

Food was ok, my whole family's potatoes were burnt to high heaven. Poor service though we understand it was a busy environment. Once is good enough to try. People hype this place up more to what it really is.
