If your like me and grew up somewhere in New England with an amazing clam shack nearby where you lived then you probably also know you can't find whole belly clams anywhere out here. Except of course Pete's. Pete drives to the airport 3 times a week I'm told to pick up his shipment of fresh New England Maine lobster and seafood. His cooks have been taught well how to fry them to perfection. It's a true neighborhood restaurant with nice people, excellent service and a product that cannot be found anywhere else in San Diego. AMAZING! I have been going there for years. If you want to meet Pete you'll have to go for lunch. Seems like he's there every day. If it's dinner you'll be served by one of his people. All the same people I've seen for many years which is another sign of a good restaurant.

Large portions. Friendly staff. Food is pretty dang good. Prices APPEAR to be a bit high due to the neighborhood, but portion easily gave me 2 meals. Well worth it. Huge portions!I came there with 2 hungry coworkers. We all left with extra in boxes for later. I happily recommend this place, straight up.Owner was part of the staff during our lunch. Great guy, very much "on it".Complaints: parking is a hot commodity in this neighborhood. Not their fault! Lol!! (Or is it? Hard to deny how many people like this place!)In short? This place has become a "go to" for many in a very short time. This "up and comer" is getting VERY popular for good reason!Dietary restrictions: Keto friendly in a heartbeat. Diabetic friendly same. I had multiple options, and I'm surprised at the options available.

If you are from Boston Massachusetts and you live in SD and have not visited this place SHAME on you! No seriously this place gets their Haddock shipped in from the east coast. They use flour from Brockton Ma so the flavors are as authentic as Legal Seafood and Kelly's!!
