I'm always confused as to why pita pits don't get more business. Perhaps it is a little over priced but the food is great (for a fast food), like subway but with a pita and better fillings, so much better. Also they have two vegan proteins and lots of vegan sauces (and all their veggies are vegan too ;P )! Wish they were more popular so they'd be easier to find.

Fantastic, tasty pita wraps from classic Mediterranean to modern american fusion with options to build your own, it's always good for a quick, affordable lunch or dinner. Counter service so not a place to sit and eat for a while, but it is very clean and great for carry out too.

This place has the freshest ingredients. I get the souvlaki pita it is so good. I think I could eat here everyday. The guy who works here (I have to get his name next time) is awesome and friendly.

I've been to Pita Pit before, but they had left San Diego. Now they are back in the College Area. I ordered online through Level Up and the meal was ready and waiting when I got here. My only complaint about the food, was that my gyro sandwich was a little cold, maybe from sitting for about ten minutes. Otherwise it was good. I like their variation on the pita sandwich, where the ingredients are in a closed pocket style so there is MUCH less of a mess. I had ordered the small sandwich and I think for the meal it was a good value at about $10 plus tax, including chips and a 20 ounce bottle drink. There was nobody else here on a Saturday at lunchtime, but I bet this place is jumping on a weekday. Good stuff! One word of caution to the staff, especially if families come in. Running uncensored Pandora on a hip hop station can have poor consequences. One song was loaded with f- bombs and objectionable content, and it wasn't a rap song. Make sure you are playing more family friendly music in the store, or at least put the censor block on. I think you can do that on Pandora.
