Wow, just wow! This was one of the tastiest, chillest, most relaxing restaurants I have ever been too. The staff were so kind, they gave fantastic suggestions! (The salad sampler and the cheese bread are so good, you can see the carnage we left here)The wine was spectacular. I got the lamb stew and holy lamb it was superb. The meat literally fell off the bone, the rice was a perfect balance to the rich stew. It's a must see place with must eat food!10/10, I can't wait to come here again!

The food is not good but expensive. Won’t recommend for friends or won’t return myself. Worst shashlik and hachapuri I ever tried. Khinkali were over-salted. Outdated

Interesting place with a fun, cozy vibe. The servers have made a great recommendations every time have been there. The food is unique to San Diego and it all tastes very good. Except for the traffic to get there, it's always been a great dining experience.

Very great experience. Went with a couple friends for dinner, definitely recommend getting there early and not hungry but, the food is very good, unique and of its own tradition. It was a very authentic experience of dining.Parking: No parking. You will have to find parking in the neighborhood.

I ordered pork shish kebab, I guess it had never encountered fire, I don’t know what it was fried on, the meat was dry and tough, and probably heated, they served it with rice, which is sooooo strange. The plate of salads was also not impressive, Olivier was dry and spared sour cream, the eggplant salad was only tasty, the rest of the salads are not worth attention. Borscht, but I would say beetroot soup, as it is blood red in color and with colored potatoes, it is greasy and not very good either. Khinkali is a C grade, a bit dry.The interior is pleasant, the Georgian wine is excellent, $70 per bottle.

The ambience here is very relaxing, however it does have a high noise level. You have to practically yell to hear the other person with you. The food itself was quite good. The borscht was flavorful and earthy. The pierogies were just ok, nothing that really made me want to order them again. My favorite was the beef stroganoff, it was incredibly delicious. They gave me enough that I was able to take half home and have a second meal. The bread was also very good and the butter that came with it was addictive. The only setback I think we really had was how long we had to wait for our server to come back. It was very busy and there seemed to be only two servers for all the tables. The staff was very nice however.

Ok this is an unusual review in that we ended up having to take our entree food to go :( because we were running short on time, so when you visit maybe budget like at least 2 hrs for dinner! Khachapuri was bomb, unless you're lactose haha, although I was pretty whatever about the mega large soup dumplings. This place is pretty European, in how relaxed (and thus kind of slow) the service is, but honestly the staff was pretty great in my opinion! I was pleasantly surprised at how quick we were able to be seated for a party of 5 (I think we just happened to luck out and a large party was leaving at the same time, but also we were kind of early at 6pm on a Saturday). And if you're not familiar with Russian or Georgian food, the waitress had excellent explanations and recommendations. Decoration is lowly lit and homey but also kind of romantic, and if we had more time to enjoy our meal, I'm sure I would've had a great experience. But yeah, we were definitely sitting awhile and not getting our food, so we had to flag our waitress and request it to go. For fair warning, we ate the entrees a couple hours later, so I feel like this wouldn't be an accurate review, but the shisalik with the carrot rice probably held up the most and they forgot our pasta with the beef stroganoff. The lamb soup was good but kind of too rich for me, but the meat was fall off the bone tender. Overall, I was disappointed to not have a complete experience, but I'll definitely try to revisit again (and try their honey cake!)

Came here for a date night and boy did it wow us!! The food was AMAZING!! The service men and women were so friendly and kind to us, and we both decided to come here again to try more!! Pro tip...get the Russian Black Tea with the Pomegranate syrup on the side...it's so delicious!! Our faves? Beef stroganoff and the eggplant salsa salad with bread basket. Cabbage rolls were also good but not as good as the stroganoff For us...it just needed a bit more salt in the meat portion of the cabbage rolls. The sauce tho...was bread dipping worthy!! Highly recommend!!

This place was good. Cozy ambiance. Delicious food. Really busy on a Saturday night. Service was a bit slow but they were really friendly.

Service was slow. Food came out very cold. Was very disappointed. Ambiance was not the best either.

This was a lovely date night spot to try out new food! I love the ambiance, it's got moody lighting, the walls are scribbled with the love and delight of past customers and some funky vintage decor. Date & I ordered: - Adjaruki Khachapuri - Pierogis - Beef Stroganoff - Honey Cake For about $80, we got a deep food coma after. Although the beef stroganoff looked small when it first came out, there was enough carbs in everything to make me full fast and there was more beef in that small bowl than we thought. We felt that the cheese bread was a little too salty for us, probably would be better shared in small doses. Pierogis were yummy, chewy. Stroganoff was deep in flavor. The star for me was the honey cake as I'm a sweet tooth. Please get this if you come here! I never had anything like it before!

Fantastic spot. Delicious food. We ordered the "salad sampler platter" which was unlike any salads I've ever had-- the eggplant and radish salads were fantastic! The pelmeni in sauce were so tasty. The pierogi's were amazing with the butter. And the stroganoff was amazing.I also enjoyed the Russian black tea and used the accompanying traditional sweet syrup to sweeten it-- delightful! Eager to return!
