I've always liked the pies here. Basically we were getting a large order and we didnt know they didnt take cash, so we didnt tip in case we didnt have enough on the card and the lady was clearly pissed about it cause she barely gave me any ice cream and no forks. Super petty and bad service. This only happened at Point Loma location other ones are great.

We were in town on vacation and craving something sweet. We stopped in and ordered pie to go. I got the key lime and my husband got the salted caramel apple crumble, both were delicious!! The workers were kind and friendly!

Small little shop with an ice cream shop also. Finally tasted a Key Lime Pie, more a lime posset on a great crust. There were many families entering, a very popular place.Parking: Just be flexable, remember, there is pie, or ice cream, when you arrive.

Okay so first things first, this is the cutest place with nice art and the perfect spot on the corner. This was our first time coming and super excited. We were greeted by several employees and asked if we needed anything to let them know. The green hog and cheese was underwhelming to say the least. It was missing the cheese listed, we didn't get any hint of peppers either nor potatoes. The only thing you really could taste was the pork itself and the tomatillos. The crust was nice but I would suggest adding the ingredients that were supposed to be in there and maybe some other fillers like corn, some cilantro, spinach etc. now onto the mashed potatoes, that was the star of the show sadly enough. They had so much flavor, the gravy was rich and delicious, absolutely wonderful. The lemon hand pie only had lemon on one side of the pie, I wish it was spread throughout with the berries or at least on both ends of the pie. The blueberry yuze slice was good but it was missing the nice balance of berries and apples. It was also missing the lemon so I felt they should have a lemon sauce drizzled over the top to bring that out and shine on its own.

This place was amazing! I was in town for a tennis tournament and was recommended this place by a local. It was so good I bought four to take home (they have a frozen section). Every pot pie they offer is amazing! You can't go wrong! Next time I'm in San Diego you can find me here! 5 stars highly HIGHLY recommend!

A bit pricey, and not a whole lot of options for pot pies, but DAMN the chicken one was DELICIOUS!!The crust is to die for, come back alive to finish, and die again. The service is phenomenal.

I didn't realize the PieScream was basically a milkshake with a slice of pie shoved inside; but it was really good. The Green Hog was a little spicy, but good with great complexity of flavors.

Pop Pie has been on my list for ages and it didn't disappoint! The employee was super friendly and helpful! Who wouldn't be happy working here...you're surrounded by pies ALL DAY LONG!My better half and I ended up here after a great hike...it was still early enough in the day so we opted for savory breakfast and then took a sweet home for later that night. The establishment is bright and airy. You can see all their offerings in the display case. It wasn't easy to pick because everything looked delicious. We settled on a few things....Let's start with savory. We shared two- the boss breakfast and red chile. The boss breakfast has everything you could possibly want! All breakfast in a flaky crust. It's served with maple syrup. The red chile was so filling...absolutely delicious. Each pie was around 10-12 dollars. Large enough to share but if you're super hungry, you'll want your own.On to the sweet pie...coconut custard pie with salted caramel. Coconut custard pie was a childhood favorite of mine. I haven't had it in close to 20 years...it's nearly impossible to find out here. Most people think it's coconut cream pie- but it's not. The employee was SO kind listening to me ramble on and on about this...but it really made my day. My better half had never heard of it before so sharing it with him was extra special. The verdict? It's simply delicious and brought back wonderful memories. I wouldn't hesitate buying a large pie for a special occasion!5 stars! We'll be back!

The Pop Pie Co is my favorite spot in Point Loma to eat, their chicken pot pie is the best pot pie I have ever tasted! Their matcha tastes like it's fit for royalty, I have never tasted such a good matcha and I have had lots of it in my life.Their customer service is out of this world, they have always been so kind to me whenever I come into the restaurant! The lovely employees there always have a smile on their face and make nice conversation, I always love talking to them. The place itself has a comfortable vibe to it that just makes you want to stay for longer, it's set up in such a way that is very welcoming. There is this one place that my friend and I love to sit at, it has a gorgeous painting on a tall part of the ceiling. At the end of the day, I can't explain how much I love I love this place and I would absolutely recommend visiting The Pop Pie Co!

You will not regret giving this place a chance. The pot pies here are so good. I was surprised I liked the classic chicken pot pie THAT much. The crust is so flaky and flavorful. The inside was piping hot and filled with a generous amount of chicken and veggies. I loved every bite. We also tried the mushroom and leek quiche which was also very good. There was a red chile pork pot pie when we went and that one was a bit dry but same amazing crust. We'll be back to try more of the different fillings. They also sell frozen pies you can take home. I'll be taking advantage of that for sure!

I've been to their North Park location and loved the pies and drinks I've tried there. First time here and my horchata was so so sweet. It honestly tasted like sugar water. Would not recommend it at all. Maybe go for a matcha drink or try something else. The ambience is nice, there's 3 places connected inside and a nice clean seating area. Service was good and fast.

We dropped by recently to get frozen pies to go and were convinced to get one of each (5 pack for $40) - chicken, green hog and cheese, Aussie meat, roasted veggies and yellow curry, and veggie pot pie. We have slowly worked our way through them and honestly they were all delicious although our favorites were probably the green hog and cheese and veggie/curry. They come out of the oven flakey and with a good amount of filling. We found it was nice to defrost them in the fridge overnight before popping them in the oven for 50-55 min the day of. A great easy week day meal!
