Dog friendly patio with heaters. Weekend brunch was delicious. We had the Benedict and breakfast hamburger. Bother were fantastic. Bottomless mimosa is the way to go. We also enjoyed the Bloody Mary, I think the rest of San Diego could take a lesson on how to offer an 18$ Mary. (See Pics)

Solid lunch spot for lunch with coworkers. Not too busy so they didn't mind that we took our time and chatted. Pretzel, salad and wine were good.

Absolutely loved this place! The restaurant is really cool inside, so is the bar. Drinks were amazing, great prices on happy hour too. Food was absolutely to die for. They fry the pickles in IPA beer batter and it's the best you've had. The Birria fries were so good I even ordered some to go. Ordered the wagyu beef Loco Moco to go too and it was amazing. Very friendly staff, just a great atmosphere.I don't live super close to this restaurant but will be coming back every chance I get because it was just that good!Parking: Large parking lot outsideWheelchair accessibility: Easy door access at ground level

My husband and I love Public House 131! We go for brunch every Saturday and I look forward to it all week. Literally all the food on the brunch menu Is great! They also have regular menu items if brunch isn't your thing. We also go for lunch and dinner when we can. They update the menu frequently (seasonally?), so there are new things to try, but also the popular items. Our new favorites are the Cobb Club and Mushroom Risotto, but I also recommend the Greek Wedge Salad, Buffalo Wings, Birria Fries, Pub Burger, Flat Top Cheese Burger, and Loco Moco. You really can't go wrong. And the people who work there are very welcoming. It's a great vibe. Casual and relaxed.

Our family loves this restaurant! Great service always, house waygu burger is so good. Great draft options, as well as cocktails. Bartenders are also talented and make my weird requests, like gimlet with absinthe.

We love the food and cocktails here! One drink and I'm in a good spot. Guavarita for the win! The grilled artichoke appetizer and pub burger are amazing. They even have a kid's menu. Sometimes it can get chilly if they leave the wall openings open but it's a cool vibe and great for dates.

If you’re in the Scripps Ranch / Scripps Poway area this is one of your three neighborhood bar and grills, and the one with the most varied menu. They have a great selection of rotating beers and some decent cocktails. If you’re there for The Game they’ve usually got it on. Or if you’re like me they have some nice outdoors or rollup window seating. Most of the servers have been working here forever (hi, Dylan and Sydney!) and are as attentive as you need. I’ve been going here about once a week for years.Parking: Limited parking in the small reserved lot, but tons of mall parking nearby.Kid-friendliness: It is a bar and grill, but they do accommodate kids, there is a kids menu, and outside seating.

First time checking out Public House 131 and I’m glad we did! Easy reservations on OpenTable, although they weren’t needed for the timeframe we visited. Studying their menu in advance, I was impressed and had high hopes for some of their unique offerings. This family friendly establishment certainly elevates traditional gastropub fare. Service was professional and efficient although not overly personable or friendly. I think it may have been the manager gentleman. Restaurant is clean, spacious and comfortable. Impressive draft beer selection on tap. My wife’s margarita looked and tasted exquisite.I started with an order of Fried Calamari, which included poblano chiles, morita crema and lemon. It was outstanding and beautifully presented, although somewhat of a petite portion. My Flat Top Double Cheeseburger was excellent! Made with two nicely seared beef patties, double cheese, bacon, pickles, grilled onions and dijon. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time, that I can tell you! I had onion rings on the side and while they seemed rather institutional, they were fried to a perfect crispness and there was a generous amount. For dessert I highly recommend the English Toffee Bread Pudding (no raisins). While it was unfortunately cool in the center it still tasted great overall. I’ll be back!
