My yesterday Friday was spent right on point at this cute place @publichouselajolla in downtown Lajolla. Their burgers are beautifully delicious, I love the vibe there and the service was so kind, everybody was smiling and friendly. We got to try La jolla cove and Santana burgers, i don't want to forget their fish and chips as well. It is highly recommended to enjoy the food and the location

We had excellent fish tacos. They do not have proper white wine glasses.

We visited La Jolla on a Wednesday (3/27) afternoon. Started to get hungry and was looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. Found this place just a few blocks from where we parked. From the outside, Public House La Jolla looks pretty chill with patio and interior dining. We opted for seating on the patio. Very cool spot that’s outside but also shaded. Our server (Jasmine A) was fantastic! She answered all our questions including my beer questions! She was hospitable, polite, and friendly. Her service is a solid 5/5!We ordered the Mushroom Bacon Burger, Two Tacos, a Chicken Apple Havarti Sandwich, and Kids Chicken Strips. Everything turned out very good. My burger did turn out a little more well done than medium but still tasted very good. The Chicken Strips unfortunately had more batter than chicken and was a bit on the oily side. The fries were very good. My beer (8 Bit IPA as suggested by Jasmine) was very very good. Food overall is a 4.5/5.Value to price ratio is probably a 3.5/5. The food here is pricey for burgers, fries, tacos, and chicken strips. Burgers will set you back about $20+ or more. My burger was $24. Tacos are about $10 each. Beers are about $9. Our total for 5 to dine here for lunch came out to about $162 with tax and tip.Over all experience is here is about a 4/5. If you decide to dine here, expect to pay a premium for the food but you won’t walk away hungry. The portions should be large enough for just about anyone. The beer is very good! You do have to pay to taste test which was interesting. Most other places will offer free taste test. Service is very good. Our server (Jasmine) was wonderful and made us feel comfortable. Public House La Jolla tops my list of eateries and comes highly recommended if you’re looking for a place with good burgers, good beer, and quality service. If you find this review helpful, please give the heart or thumbs up emoji reaction below!

Oh my gosh, we had the very best burgers at the Public House patio/outdoor area. The buns were just the right texture and the meat patties the perfect size. They have a nice selection of drinks too. Enjoy!

For families: the kids menu had about 5 or 6 choices (all well over $10). My kid got the Mac-n-cheese and it's a large serving, I shared it with him. The ceviche was great and it was a large serving. Good value for the money. For my gluten free homies they don't have gluten free buns but can do a letttuce wrap burger. The ambiance is cute - it's an historic home turned into a restaurant so quite unusual. The bar next door looks fun but it's pretty small. The service was why we took a star off, it took forever to get our check.

Drove to the beach and had lunch @publichouse The steak bruschetta was a pleasant twist on the classic. The addition of steak elevated the dish into something that could be a meal in itself. The steak paired perfectly with the crispy bread and fresh toppings. As someone who doesn't drink, I was excited to see that they had a booze-free option for a grapefruit Paloma. It was a light and refreshing drink. However, their beer selection is also highly recommended for those who do enjoy a good brew.I decided to add pineapple to the calabrese and mozzarella flatbread. I am that person who loves the sweet and salty mix.I tried their New Zealand Kobe Wagyu sliders, which are half off on Mondays. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. But the real star of the dish was the jalapeño aioli. It added the perfect amount of heat and flavor to the slider. My absolute favorite though was the chocolate chip bread pudding Yasss!! Just get it

I freakin' love this place. When I moved within walking distance of this pub a few years ago, I thought, "Cool. I love close to a pub." But now the place has a special place in my heart. The staff make their customers special, and they have become like family to me. It also helps that the place has decent pub food and a great selection of beers on draft. This is the place to go for casual, tasty food with staff who care about the business. It is awesome for locals and visitors alike. I hope that you, too, get to develop great memories here like I have.

This is the best pub we've been to in California. They have it all - indoor/outdoor seating, good quality pub food, tons of sports screens, a highly curated and ever changing draft beer selection, and incredible staff. The bar is outdoors! We like the fish and chips, but the burgers are their specialty. We've gone there weekly since we moved to La Jolla, and found that there are a lot of fun secrets to learn about, too... The prices are good for the area.If you go, tip well, San Diego is expensive, yo!
