We have been wanting to eat here for a while. Finely made it happen. The food was wonderful. Empenadas delicious. Steak was well seasoned and a perfect medium rare, Chimichurri perfect. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Our server Roberta was so much fun and chose an excellent wine for us. Didn't think I liked Malbec, but I do. We had their signature Puerto La Boca Malbec it was perfect. Thank you, Roberta. We will definitely be back.

AVOID THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!!!So, this is the first time I hated a restaurant in San Diego, and I'll try to be fair. I have two problems with this place:1. I waited literally over 20 (!!!) minutes before a waiter came to me. The restaurant was half empty and there were 3 (!!!) waiters. When a waiter finally came, I thought maybe they had an accident and asked him: what happened? - Nothing.... Nothing happened... UNREAL... This alone would have been enough to give them the worst grade, but no... I thought, this is an Argentine place, the stake should be awesome... and I ordered it...2. I have not had a worst stake in the worst and cheapest diners in my life. If only they took as much care not making it remind a resin tire as they did putting half a pound of garlic in it. Also, they asked how I wanted it, and asked for medium - but it was very-very well-done.To be fair, chicken empanada was very good. That was the only thing that was good. Well, also the waiters were polite and nice, but I'd rather they were harsh and nasty and didn't have me wait for 20+ minutes in a half empty restaurant. Not to mention, the WORST stake in the world.Anyway, AVOID THIS PLACE.

Shared steaks are my favorite (they even cooked one side medium and my wifes side well done) . It's the perfect meal for two with an amazing taste. We enjoy the Sangria and occasional dessert which is very tasty. Love this place.

A bit expensive and service is a bit on the slower side but overall a really great dinner. We shared the parrillada el conventillo which was a selection of different meats. It came with chorizo sausage, blood sausage, various cuts of steak and a piece of chicken. For the side we did saffron rice and veggies which were both excellent.We really enjoyed the chorizo, blood sausage, and the chicken. Not sure which it is but the cut of beef that was thinner was the best. Especially with the chimichurri sauce. We asked for medium well but some of the beef pieces for us were still a little too bloody so if you're in between medium well and well done Id suggest doing well done.

Unfortunately the service was ineffective, food came before the beverages, no refills, I had to ask for basic things. The food was good, but portions were small and prices are high. The experience was not the best. Went on Saturday and it was live music. The atmosphere is cool. Give you guys a try, and see how it works for you.

This restaurant used to be good, but we were very disappointed with our dining experience this time. Not only was my meat overcooked and unappetizing, but I got very sick with food poisoning. Do not waste your money on this restaurant.
Tasteful atmosphere, service, and most of all, food. I could have eaten here every night. The food is such high quality and priced so affordably. The staff is polite, professional and carefully attentive. This is my official go-to spot in Little Italy ❣️

This is my favorite restaurant in all of San Diego. If you want a steak that will keep you coming back for more this is your place. Every appetizer and entre that I've tried has been excelent, superb, and divine. I truly love this place with all of my heart. If you have a fine dame/earl take them here. I have never had an issue my many years of coming to this place. It is truly exquisite, and worth every penny. ❤️❤️❤️

Ordered MR, received MW. Picture is second time over cooking my steak, and after Rudolpho came over and insisted this was rare. I guess this place used to be pretty good but please do not waste your money here. If you’re a steakhouse, the kitchen should know how to temp a steak. Lots of better restaurants to go to so keep looking!
