Need some authentic Filipino food in your life?!? This is the place to be. It's your hole in the wall, filipino Kuya cooking in the back with your Titas serving the front. Come on in! It's friendly service with DELICIOUS food. You know the worst kinda Filipino food customer? ME! I'm a Filipino food snob. Don't get me wrong I AM 100% Filipino however, I can cook my own food. So for me to leave you a review 1) food better be on point 2) that price better be somewhere I can send my Lola, Tita, or Nanay to. Just saying. My tongue ain't broken and my wallet is cheap lol. So here it is your local food stop if you're at UCSD and you missing food from home. Or you're into Filipino food but you're on a budget; seriously you're gonna thank me! Sisig was the perfect amount of spice and sourness, Caldereta slices were tender and full of flavor not that hard beef cheap places try, AND the pancit...FLAVORFUL, not dry or missing any seasonings! I even looked for my mom in the back cause it tastes just like hers They also cater, so you got parties but don't have all night to cook for your party through the night into the next day like we used to old school?!? Well give this place a call, have them make you lumpia, pancit, sisig or whatever you need. As if this review didn't make you hungry already. Here's what I had today. Sisig, pancit, and Caldereta. Come by, trust me you, your wallet, and your Titas are gonna thank me!

I went here with very little knowledge of Filipino cuisine and was greeted my very friendly staff that was just as interested as I was in my wife and I trying this new food. I had the sisig and pancit and it was absolutely delicious I would highly recommend this place especially if you're unsure and want to give it a try.

On the expensive side but I choose R&B because the staff is the best in the world and everything I buy...yummy yummy yum an understatement. Best Filipino food in Mira Mesa.

I usually try to get the hair as they open at 11 when the dishes are freshly prepared. Both owners and staff are very friendly and cheerful thus creating a wonderful dining experience. It's 'turo-Tito' or point point (with your finger) style as to which food item you went to include with your rice or noodles. I love their 'sisig' which they are known for as well as the lechon jaw Ali and saiteed bitter melon plus other vegetable dishes. I highly recommend trying out everything so you'll have to dine a few times and figure out which are your favorites.

Haven't been here in years. My colleague brought their sisig to work and I decided to visit again. Definitely an upgrade in the interior since I last visited. They have a huge, bright menu board. Indoor seating is a little close but available. I like that they continue to cook and replenish food and not just make a "batch" for the day. Their sisig was delicious, but the lechon was okay. Some parts of the meat were really dry and the skin wasn't crunchy and it was hard to bite. Eventually I gave up and threw the tough pieces away. On the other hand, the lechon in the sisig was tender and crunchy. I highly recommend the sisig and skip the lechon. They have so many choices to choose from. It's tucked away and not on the Main Street of Mira Mesa Blvd.

The sisig was delicious and very tasty but the portion was kinda small for the price.

Best Sisig I've ever had. I won't get it anywhere else now! Lechon is also amazing-my teenage son requests it every time!!

Always great food selection and provides decent amount of food given on servings. Better than other Filipino food around Mira Mesa!
