This was one of my favorite Chinese places in town, shame it's gone. Felt like a home cooked meal. The service was great and fast and it was always like a warm neighborhood restaurant.

So sad to see they've closed down. Since our first time visiting, they've been our family's favorite and we would order them from just because days to share with visitors. We loved their xiao long bao and, ginger chicken, and singaporean noodles the most. May and Victor are the nicest and sweetest couple/owners. I hope they are doing well wherever they are, enjoying their well-deserved retirement!

I was encouraged to try this place based on its good reviews, but I don't think this place was worth it. We (2) spent over an hour here on a Saturday evening (7-8:20ish). The service was quite slow (I would estimate about 40 minute wait for our food). Our table was in a highly trafficked area (near bathroom and kitchen). Once the food arrived (we ordered red Moon chicken and Dan Dan noodles), it was OK (not great). Overall, I would not recommend this place to others and I will not return.

My husband and I have been coming to Red Moon for at least 10 years. It is, hands down, our favorite restaurant on Convoy! Not only is the food delicious, Mae, the server and hostess, is the sweetest woman you will ever meet. Red Moon is a hidden gem!Whenever we come, we always order the garlic edamame, cream cheese wontons, juicy dumplings (XLB), and Red Moon Beef. The XLB are always served piping hot and filled with a delicious beef broth and a vinegar/ginger sauce on the side. They're my personal favorite and one of my all time favorite comfort foods. The Red Moon Beef is very flavorful with perfectly cooked beef and a caramelized sweet, tangy, and citrusy sauce. We would also highly recommend the Singapore style noodles and salt and pepper pork chops!Mae is almost always working as the hostess and server. I literally can't say enough good things about her. She is always so cheerful and sweet when you come in and will greet and serve you with a genuine smile. Even if my husband and I haven't been in to the restaurant in a while she always remembers our orders, and greets us warmly like we are family. I honestly come in sometimes just to say hi when I'm in the area.

I just found out that Red Moon has closed!!!! I am so sad as this was the best hole in the wall place to go to. We could never go to any of the others there because we would follow May and Victor like baby ducks to wherever they would go. Food and service here was sooo above the top fantastic and oh so mouth watering! Five stars isn't enough, maybe gold bars and crowns would be more fitting. I hope May and Victor are able to enjoy their retirement and we will always remember the many fun times we had at their very special restaurant. They will surely be missed.

If it is truly the case the Red Moon is gone forever, then it is quite sad. Looking back at my first impression is funny because it ended up become a staple for me and my kids to go to. Food may not have always been a home run, but the couple that ran it was always very nice. I was surprised, but happy it lasted as long as it did, because they always seemed to be overshadowed by other places around them. I will miss the simple ambience, and sad that COVID robbed me of more times to dine in there. I am not sure if they retired, but I hope they are both OK. I appreciated their kindness over the years. Sometimes that is worth more than the food being stellar. Soup dumplings, Cream cheese wontons, Kon Pao Beef with rice, and sometimes tea if it was cold enough out. It became a comfort meal. I will miss it. Thanks for the memories.

Excellent soup dumplings and crispy noodles with beef. Also loved the chicken fried rice. Kind and swift service in Convoy, this place is as good as it gets when compared to the bigger names across the street.

Omg. Love this place. Eaten here 7 times. Tasty everything! Gone with 4 peeps and 8 or 10 peeps and it is always good. Try the soup dumplings. Or spicy wings or the Shanghai noodles or spicy orange chicken or the beef noodles.

Delicious food an amazing service! We ordered the juicy dumplings, house fried rice and the sweet and pungent chicken and I am confident we have found our regular Chinese spot! Food is so fresh and good portions.

They did not meet my expectations. Nothing wrong with them. Not Japanese Chinese style they mention. More like American Chinese style

I loved this place. Classic Chinese food at it best. Just how my mom use to make it. Flavor of the food was perfect never a dry bite. Honey walnut shrimp is the best place yet. Thin coating and semi-sweet sauce. Orange Chicken had real bits of dry orange peel! It just gave the orange extra care and flavor it needed. Kung Pow beef was so tender and saucy I wanted to pour it all over my rice and eat it like that. If you want that old school Chinese food and quality, you should come here.
