My husband went to get me a bean rice and cheese burrito, what I got was a horrible bean stuffed burrito. I saw a couple of specks of rice. And a gob of cheese near the end. It was so full of beans that with each bite the beans blew out the end of the burrito making a huge mess all over my lap. $10 he was charged for this disaster. Beans had no taste either. Bland. Yuck.

This place used to be my all time favorite spot when I lived here. I would go 1-2x/week. I moved away and then came back to town last night. It was late, but I already knew what my first stop was going to be…Roberto’s. I got my usual carne asada burrito. It is still bomb, but $15 and 40% smaller than it used to be?? Come on guys, you can do better.

Hands down the best Mexican in Clairemont.#12, Taco Salad, or Carney Asada Plate. Are my favorite! If your gonna eat out you may as well eat something better than manufactured hamburgers or French fries with more ingredients that potato! And say hello to Rene!Vegetarian options: It's Mexican, if it doesn't have meat, chicken, or fish it's basically all vegetables......

I got the chile reyenos burrito and it was soooo good!! Me and partner went here late night for the first time. The rice was cooked perfectly, not overcooked. You could actually see the egg in the burrito and it was overfilled with beans and cheese like most burritos. Being a Mexican myself, I can say I was highly impressed with the quality of the food.

This place is so good. It is small but the California burrito (has meat, cheese, and fries in it) and the Carne asada fries are amazing!! The employees were super friendly and the service was fast.

Got a "California Burrito" here and it is a joke, just meat, cheese and stale fries. No pico, guac, sour cream or anything else. Don't put it on the menu if you aren't going to make it right.
