I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this fine place. Well it was a sensational evening and the place was unquestionably one of the reasons for this strong event. The crew contributed in a sweet way, the food was appetizing and my guests were so thrilled. We shall surely come back again for more events. thanks very much.

Yum Pickle Soup! Yes you have read this correctly. As a self proclaimed connoisseur of pickles and a big fan of soup this combo made me very happy. I don't think I have been this excited to try anything in ages. IT WAS SO GOOD. If you are on the fence about trying this then jump that fence and dig in. There Is magic in the soup. It is a dill lovers dream! I am ordering it again for pick up next week and this time I ordering enough for two because even my husband didn't want to share with me when it was what I ordered for an appetizer. The chicken cutlet was larger than my head and I still seemed to manage to devour it within one hour. As someone who gets picked on for never finishing their meal it would make those bullies eat their words. I know things are difficult during this pandemic but if you can do yourself a favor and treat yourself you will not be sorry.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in San Diego--a real treasure with a variety of comforting and unique dishes! We ordered takeout recently and were so impressed with both the quality and quantity of all our meals. Two of us ordered the garlic chicken with kasha and fresh vegetables - so flavorful! One order was enough for us to have several meals. (We froze the leftovers and when reheated they tasted just as good.) My brother and sister-in-law ordered a flatbread pizza and a salad which they also really enjoyed and took home leftovers. We all shared a molten chocolate cake for dessert - which came with instructions for briefly heating up the cake -- along with containers of ice cream and whipped cream to put on top -- SO delicious! My mother has gone before and loved the pirogies too. I'm looking forward to returning and trying some of their other soup, salads, and other entrees.

Kinda sad I didn't get to eat here. I told them I'd be there and they clearly didn't have a full house and I was told I was too late and couldn't be seated anymore. I got there in 45 mins from my house. Also they still had a empty table for us. Their wine collection was amazing though. Tuff parking as well so keep that in mind when going with a full party .

This place is great! Nestled in the nook between Euclid and Monroe in Talmadge, this wine café is priced high-mid range with exemplary Polish food, and, of course, excellent wines. On Wednesdays there are specials on whole bottles, which is when my partner and I went. We took the money we saved and put it towards a generous tip for the husband and wife who are running this restaurant single-handedly during a pandemic. Both of them visited our table for a delightful chat. These are hard-working, open-minded people who deserve your business. We haven't gone out at all since the pandemic, and this was our first sit-down date in months. We felt safe here because of the delightful outside patio with good seating and spacing. Go early to avoid a crowd, or go later for some evening ambiance. Either way, it's a win. A bottle of rosé, two entrees, and a shared desert clocked in at around $80 for us. The portions were plentiful and the variety on the plate consisting of seasoned veggies, sauerkrauts, slaws, meats, and top-tier mashed potatoes was well worth it. Add this quaint find in a pretty and secluded part of town to your list. 10/10.
