We came here Thursday night and loved it! There weren't very many people on a Thursday night and the staff was attentive. The chef came out and brought us our Arrancini and chatted with us a bit. The food was all so good!! The arranchini and the focaccia are a must. I loved the lasagna, but it is super ricotta forward so you gotta like ricotta. Over all, great night! I would recommend making a reservation on the weekend as the restaurant is pretty tiny so wait times could be long.

The food was delicious and well worth the price. We enjoyed the Blueberry Bourbon Smash cocktails, appetizers Aranchini, Bruchetta, and Brussels sprouts the only way to eat them. The entree’ Sea Bass, Chicken Parmesan, Lasagna and Tortellini were all very tasty. Large servings.

Amazing food and service. The prosciutto and burrata app was heavenly. The grilled meats are fantastic. Only downside is that the interior is super loud. So if you are on a date and t trying to converse it is difficult. Fun vibe though!

The absolute best authentic Italian food in San Diego. Had the Caprese, Focaccia with oil & balsamic, scampi, bolonase with ricotta/pistachio cheese cake for dessert. Best Cappuccino I've ever had. Service was terrific and prices were very reasonable. Oh and the Super Tuscan and Pinot Grigio were on point. Would give this place 10 stars if I could. Thanks Brandon for great service all night!

Folks! Check your bill before you leave this place to make sure you're not double/triple charged or charged for something you've never ordered. Apparently this happened to me.

Rovino is my go to spot go Italian food in San Deigo's Little Italy. I always make a point to bring visiting family and friends to Rovino. The food is delicious. The service is friendly and attentive. I always start with arincini - wonderful. The lasagna is my go to menu item but I have explored other menu options with great satisfaction. The cocktails are crafted with attention to creating a wonderland complex flavor profile. I highly recommend Rovino!

This place is a neighborhood go-to for great Italian food. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. For convenience, wish the bathroom was inside the restaurant and not halfway down the block.

Good pasta, the meat wasn’t the best.

Excellent food! This place has always been good but now with new leadership, they have stepped it up a notch. Started with the Rovino Bruschetta, unique and excellent. Caprese flat bread, delicious. Shrimp Scampi, bolognese, sugo, all excellent. The pastas were simple and delicious, just what you want. Our server, Marco, was very attentive and personable.

We had an AMAZING dinner at Rovino Wednesday 12/13 evening. The weather was lovely so we sat outside. The 3 of us shared a dinner salad and focaccia and we still didn't eat it all. Very generous portions and fresh and delicious. Two of us had the lasagna and the other person got the scampi and again - fabulous. We like our Cosmo's, but not with Triple Sec so we ordered ours with Cointreau. The bartender did a great job. We had quite a few so they ran out of Cointreau LOL. The waiter actually went across the street and bought another bottle! I'm pretty sure most places would have just used Triple Sec and not said a word. We just had the best time. The waiter (too many Cosmos I forgot his name) was a sweetheart. We were visiting San Diego from Los Angeles -- but we will definitely be back!

The restaurant had one waiter serving 20 tablespoons of I'm shocked we got our food on time. The low score was not a reflection on staff but on management. Management needs to step it up and get their people help.

Three of us had the spicy sausage entree as we have had it before and it was delicious. While the flavor was outstanding they did change the pasta that they use in this dish. It used to be Campanelle now is was a small curly pasta. I think the Campanelle made it a special dish, so I was a little disappointed with the pasta choice. Otherwise, service was very good. We arrived at 5:30 for our reservation and were seated immediatley. Shortly thereafter the restaurant began to fill up and there was a nice buzz in the restaurant without it being too loud.
