This Rubio's on UCSD campus is just as great as any Rubio's in town, plus a ton of outdoor seating with heat lamps. The employee, Victor, was so prompt, nice and helpful, you would think he was running a fine dining establishment. By far the best service I have ever got at Rubio's. Food was great and super fast. Rubio's: please don't ever get rid of the lobster burrito.

As far as food in Price Center goes, this is a bit of a hidden gem. It's often overlooked but I've been asked multiple times where I got the food I'm eating from when I bring in Rubio's. I highly recommend the Mexican Street Corn Bowl and piling it with goodies from the salsa bar!

A single bowl costs 14 dollars meanwhile it says 11 on their menu, avoid at all cost unless you wanna get tasteless overpriced food

My second time at this Rubio's in Price Center.First time, I got the Ancho Citrus Grilled Shrimp burrito and this second time around I decided to get the Southwest Rice Bowl with Chicken (prob not the right name, but I am sure you'll find it on the menu). It was also the cheapest, and most appetizing thing I could find between all the restaurants at Price Center. They work pretty quick here, usually not a huge line. They give you a number and you can either awkwardly stand around for a few minutes, or you can go next door to Starbucks and get a refreshing Matcha Frappe to hold you over those long afternoons. This is exactly what I did, and by the time I circled back to Rubio's, the food was ready. I grabbed a table nearby and enjoyed the food. LOTS OF RICE. they should prob cool it on the rice, and up everything else. Other than that, pretty solid, pretty much burrito in a bowl except more rice and no tortilla.

Food is ok but pricing is unreasonable with the added 10% surcharge they do not inform you about until you pay. This is before they ask you to tip on take out orders. The food does not justify the pricing; I would not recommend.

I absolutely loveeeee Rubios but I was so disappointed when I placed an app order and had it sent to this location instead of the other La Jolla location and I was told the order would be refunded since I did not receive my food and it was never refunded. I'm a long time customer of Rubios so it was very saddening and I wasted my money since I never got my food.

I went at around 4 or 5 pm, so I don't think the current hours are correct, probably because this side of PC is almost done with the rennovations. I got the California burrito with chicken. I was quite surprised by how much I liked it. The chicken was very juicy and the burrito is super cheesy. It also has pico de gallo in it with large tomato chunks that adds a really refreshing taste to the burrito. Also had their chips, the chips were a bit bland and stale, I wish there was more salt and lime on it but it still went great with some salsa.

So damn good. Great taco Tuesday specials. shrimp trio has three different tacos though so read carefully.

The one at ucsd. No. It's bad. At least whatever I got had a really weird flavour.

Wonderful service and customer care! Victor was so helpful in making sure my order was corrected when something wasn't quite right. Highly recommend this location!

This review is for the Rubios at Renaissance Towne Center. We ordered several fish tacos, and what we received on every one of them consisted of about 90% partially cooked batter and 10% fish. Very unimpressive. I’ve been going to Rubios for more than 30 years. If this is what what passes for their fish tacos now, they are truly a shadow of their former selves.
