We had idli, medu vada and chai served in traditional steel glass. It tasted very good. Quantity was decent for the price we paid. Can’t complain.Plenty of free parking is available. It was awesome South Indian yummy food .. we felt like in native home town.. Manager was very kind.. we were visiting from phoenix on weekend trip.. we even packed our food from San idly for our return journey to phx. Best wishes for their upcoming Dallas shop.. definitely they should think for their new next shop in Phoenix. We miss the real South Indian Authentic veg restaurants in Phoenix..

They serve amazing Podi Idli, podi madala dosa, veg thali, idli sambar, chole puri and uttapams.End your meal with a strong filter coffee, masala chai or masala buttermilk. Service is fast and food is good.
Online order. Visiting SD and came all the way from downtown to pick up the food. Both Utappam and Poori were stale, had bad odor, and inedible. Coconut chutney was stale and inedible. Idli and tomato chutney were okay. Vada was okay.Will never visit again.

Filter coffee is excellent. I tried the Mysore Masala Dosa it was just ok but both the chutneys that came with it were extremely bad. My wife ordered the vegetarian thali and she didn't like it. Also it was supposed to be south Indian thali but the choice of rice was wrong as they served basmati rice Second they had kadi in the thali. My search for good South Indian food in San Diego still continues.
