My friends and I stopped by Santa gula while on our Irish4aday bar crawl, and we got a yummy free welcome shot along with a reverse happy hour until closing. We will be back here again for the next GEM bar crawl!

What a fabulous place for a night out on the town to meet new people or creating memories with friends and family. You won't be disappointed. This place has class and sophistication with live music and Happy Hour nightly. Since this was our third time dining/drinking here this week, we thought we would share the love and invite one of our favorite couples to happy hour. The GM, Rudy was very hospitable and Gabz produced some delectable cocktails. The food was A-MAZ-ING!! We ordered the Chicken Flautas served with a tasty mole sauce, Pork Belly Tacos, Spicy Wings, Beet Hummus & Crudite Plate. For dessert and the pièce de résistance we ordered the chocolate cake. This was truly an overall excellent experience and we'll be back as often as we can!

One of the coolest nights I've had in a long time in the Gas Lamp. Tip: Happy hour lasts all night on Mondays! Incredible drinks, delicious food and the live music is amazing (starts at 8pm). Thanks to Rudy for the amazing hospitality and Gaby for making some incredible mixed drinks. Don't forget the chocolate cake for dessert, it is out of this world.

We discovered this place a week ago and we’ve been 3 times! The staff is exceptional, food is incredible, and cocktails are carefully crafted to your satisfaction.I also feel like Rudy (director of the restaurant) is putting in a lot of effort to bring a music scene to downtown. Every night there is live jazz and blues music. Each artist is truly entertaining and talented, making you stay longer than you thought you would! Also dog friendly!

What a fun place! I would def have given this place a 4.5 if I could. We had an earlier reservation 6:30 but arrived around 6. They seated us right away. The place is lit low and the ambiance is great. Our server was attentive and very sweet. We ordered our drinks and some shared items. The music started and that was fabulous. They had two different musicians lined up for the evening. We heard the first one but had to leave before the second one came on. We loved the first jazz crooner. Reminded us of seeing live jazz in San Fran. My husband and I are always looking for live music but in a chill atmosphere and where you don't have to pay a cover. The food was good. The wine list was big but the selection of wines by the glass was smaller. About 5 reds and 5 whites. They only had one sparkling by the glass. I wish they had at least one other option of sparkling but the red wine I had was nice. Shigoku oyster - 1 oyster with caviar. You would think too salty but the oyster was creamier so the caviar was a nice pairing Yellowtail- very tasty and fresh. Braised pulpo- cooked nicely and flavorful. Dumplings- good though I could have down without the sauce on them. Rock shrimp tempura- honey garlic sauce was good. I liked it but there was a lot of sauce. Again- ambiance was great and the shared plates were good. Loved the music! Will make a res again and this time stay for all the music

Great ambience, yummy food and delicious drinks. Would definitely return and recommend! We went for live music, but no one ended up performing.

We made reservations for 6:45 pm. We arrived and were seated right away. The ambience is excellent. It's romantic but still has that lounge feel with jazzy music in the background. The service was excellent. We were greeted by our waitress as soon as we sat down. She gave us some time to look at menu and came back shortly afterward. Drinks were amazing. Food was amazing. I was very surprised at how great the food was because I came here for the drinks. The jamon iberico was amazing.it melted in your mouth. We also had the pulpo, hamachi, and dirty hasbrowns. Everything was great. Can't wait to return!

My new regular place to be when in downtown. It has everything for a spectacular night out! Beautiful decor, delicious food and live music in every genre. This past Monday they had introduced a new Secret Opera Room! Not every night you get to go to a bar, enjoy delicious drinks while listening to amazing opera singers! Plus the happy hour was all day long on Monday. So very delicious and affordable. And past Friday my friends and I were dancing to the great The Classics Band! I especially was impressed with the staff! Rudy Corona, the manager, is the best! Always makes everybody feel welcomed and at home! Highly recommend!

Really cool place with awesome ambiance, service, and food. We had the yellowtail and mole flautas as appetizers, steak and oxtail pasta for dinner, and then the cheesecake as dessert. All of these were amazing, but I'd recommend the yellowtail the most to a first time visitor-- such a unique and flavorful dish. The ambiance had a neat, vintage inspired look that is a mix of modern art deco and antique design elements. They really have thought of everything down to the details. Manager Rudy was a great help and hosted us well :) We really enjoyed this dinner and will be back! p.s. super fast service!

Too start off the food was great! I would've had ten of the yellow tail dishes if I could. We got several more meat based dishes and they were all so fresh and definitely worth recommending. The service was extremely quick. I really enjoyed my time there and will definitely be going back!

FANTASTIC food and happy hour cocktails (get the calamari, Hugo spritz and poke bowl). Service was above and beyond and opera night was spectacular! Super cool find in the middle of a lively district that made a Monday night feel like a Friday night!

The atmosphere is very nice. There was live jazz music playing. The decor was unique and sophisticated. I ordered a paloma. Highly recommend you try them. Delicious. For appetizer, I ordered the chicharron. Did not disappoint ?? it was by far the best chicharron I've ever tried! Then followed my order with crispy veggies. They were perfectly cooked. The cauliflower was filled with a cheesy, creamy texture inside and the right amount of chimachurri, with a glaze drizzle all over. Completed my dinner with a Rigatoni with Oxtail ragu pasta. Incredibly tasty and delicious. My waitress came around at the right time and the food was literally out in under 10 minutes. The lighting changes in between shows from blue to red and vice-versa. 5 out of 5!Vegetarian options: Crispy veggies.

Rudy was awesome, the food was incredible, the music was beautiful. The environment is exactly what you want on a Friday night. We got the enchiladas and the elote. We will be back.

I loved walking into this place! The vibe is very dope! With a 1920's flare and elegance with the live music, decor and the glassware!!! The service was very good! We were running late (downtown parking +petco park concert ) ... I called and they were very understanding and assured we still have our reservation and to not worry. Very sweet hostess! Our waitress Ms. Lorena was awesome! Very attentive patient and friendly! The manager Rudy came by tables and introduced himself very professional and friendly. The food!!!! Bomb!- I didn't take pics of it all! The dumplings were so delicious, although they looked different than the pictures on the website, they were yummy. The guacamole and chips ! Tasty , the salmon and salad my friend said she really enjoyed it and it did look delicious when it came out... and everything came out quickly and good temperature. The drinks! Had a Paloma and it was good , Can taste the alcohol! Haha! Definitely will go again! To stay and listen to the live music! It was the singers first day and she sang lovely! English and Spanish! New and old school hits! I'll be back!
