Ordered the Side Chick and fries. Using Crack Shack as a baseline, Not disappointed, sandwich was great, wish I would've got one with some heat - next time... Overall, it's a solid 8.5 out of 10. Cannot beat that price ($12 with fries) point and this location is extremely convenient!!! Pictures next visit - very soon...

Wow!!! This is by far the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. I ordered "The Western Chick" w/ Avocado, Bacon & Pepper Jack Cheese (additions cost extra). The chicken was cooked to perfection. Moist & Tender. Not tough & dry the way chicken can become. The Avocado was ripe, bacon crisp and cheese nicely melted. All too often with other restaurants the cheese is placed in cooled chicken which doesn't allow for the cheese to melt. The sandwich was huge! Big enough to where I could not finish it in one sitting. I also ordered a large side of Onion Rings. To my surprise they were battered rings not breaded. I love battered onion rings and these were the best I've had in a very long time. I've found my new favorite place for chicken sandwiches! Give them a try!

By far I have to say one of the best fried chicken ive ever had. Got the Cali burger and the regular chicken sandwich along with some tenders. Completely amazed at how well the chicken was seasoned and how crispy it was too. The tenders are well portioned too so I'm very happy they opened up here.

I love this place! My husband and I went randomly one day because I got a text for a discount and didn't feel like cooking after a long day. In the span of 2 weeks I've gone 4 more times. I don't typically eat out much but there's just something about the simplicity of the menu and the flavor combinations that speaks to me. The fries don't look like it will be filling but trust me THEY ARE! I could only eat half. You read 3 chicken tenders that nothing but remember the chicken is thiccc! One a different occasion I had the Korean Chick. It was so good I think I finished eating before my husband! Lol If you like super burn your mouth spicy then get the Hot Chick! It's not that the sauce tastes bad at all it's just some potent chile spice. I recommend getting it on the side and adding it as your taste buds allow. Their new Basic Chick gives chick-fil-a a run for their money! The chicken breasts are bigger, juicy, and had great seasoning!

The chicken here is excellent. I got the hot chick and my wife got the Korean chick. Both were outstanding. The hot chick was pretty darn spicy. But I ain't a quitter and powered through. Flavor town. We will be back for more

The services are provided inside of a supermarket. The food was good. I was just disappointed that I couldn't order a drink because it is not an option on the menu

My new favorite spot. I love their buffalo fries for $12, and I added an extra tender for $3. The portions are perfect for 2 people, also the guy working there is always very kind and respectful. Their chicken sandwiches are also amazing and fresh, this is a high quality chicken spot that did not disappoint. Will be returning!

I ended up finding Side Chick on Yelp. This place is located inside Manolos. The setup looks great. The service was amazing as was the food we watched him make right in front of us. It maybe took 5-8 minutes. We ordered the Side Chick sandwich and the Side Chick fries. Everything tasted so good. Much better than Raising Canes and Daves Hot Chicken. Please be careful of the Bad B sauce, its hot! Will be back soon

Intense flavor, this place is not playing around.Easily the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. I can’t imagine any other place topping this.

Quick and decently priced chicken sandwich! My partner said her chicken sandwich was actually the spiciest she’s had and she loved it! Nice quick spot for Mexican style grocery’s and a chicken sandwich.

This place is amazing, I've been a patron of them since they opened their first location in San Diego and everyone that I have introduced to Side Chick becomes a fan. The menu has a great selection of chicken sandwiches from spicy to lean for those on a diet. If you haven't tried the food here, you are missing out!

My husband and I heard about this place through one of his coworkers and she HIGHLY recommended it. We decided tonight to head in and try it out! I’ll start with the fact that usually restaurants located inside grocery stores are always fire…and this was no exception! The employee was incredibly friendly and answered all of our questions. Now—on to the food.I feel like my whole life has been a lie. I thought I knew what spice was. I thought I had experienced a spicy chicken sandwich once or twice in my day, and I expected this hot chicken sandwich to be one and the same. You know when you order a spicy chicken sandwich, but you know it’s not gonna ACTUALLY be spicy, just have a little kick like chick-fil-A’s or something…Yeah, this was not that. One bite and I felt like I had cleared my sinuses for years to come! I looked up and my husband—who was half way through his spicy chicken sandwich at this point—was chugging water from our kitchen faucet. You know that old vine video that’s like “he needs some milk!” That was me yelling at him to get milk instead. He then ripped open the fridge and chugged from our milk carton, which did not help him at all. I tried to talk to him and ask him to bring me some lettuce (idk why, but maybe an attempt to make my mouth colder??) but he said he couldn’t get it for me because he couldn’t think straight. He then started singing, “A Horse With No Name,” which I’ve never heard him sing before. I tried to eat a fry thinking it would help distract me but the savory seasoning only made the spice more powerful. To make matters worse, both drinks I had in front of me were acidic drinks, so I decided to coat my mouth in ranch. I’ve been dairy free for 8 years but this was worth breaking it for. You’re probably wondering why I rated this a 5 star, let me be clear, if I could give this place 10 stars, I would without a doubt. That sandwich was DELICIOUS. It was so incredibly spicy and yet so perfectly seasoned, juicy and balanced. The pickles were firm, not those floppy pickles from a run down McDonald’s. Don’t even get me started on this MF brioche bread. Look up “chef’s kiss” in the dictionary and this sandwich would be next to it.Will I be ordering this sandwich again? I don’t think my tongue could handle it. However, will I be returning to purchase the regular side chick chicken sandwich? Oh, I’ll probably be back again sometime this weekend (it is Friday). We also got the side chick fries for our daughters and they are toddlers, so I don’t need to tell you the level of picky they are, but they requested seconds! I was shocked that they ate everything I put in front of them. That was honestly the true test. Anyway, bottomline is that this place has great, delicious food and very friendly service. Did not disappoint at all!!

I gave Side Chick a go to support our small Local Business. Service: 5/5 Customer service was excellent. It was my first visit and the gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable of the menu. He asked me what I was looking for and made a recommendation for me. Food: 1/5 Hot Chick and Side Chick were the sandwiches ordered. The Ingredients described were all very enticing. The execution was a fail. The main part of the sandwich, the chicken, was awful. The chicken for both sandwiches were dry and tasted stale. Not at all desirable. 3 bites for each sandwich and into the trash they went. Price: 5/5 Both sandwiches were $7 each. I thought they were fairly priced with today's economy. Summary: I'm going to give them a try again and will pay a visit earlier in the day. This review is based on a visit that was made 15 minutes prior to their closing. I will update my review when I visit again.

I found this place in the Manolo Market. Staff, possibly the owner, was friendly and helpful. I ordered the hot chick sandwich. It took only a few minutes. It was juicy and the coating was tasty, crunchy, and well prepared. He even tossed in some fries gratis. And it was really inexpensive.
