Yum! So good. The dogs are pretty good size, I have a healthy appetite and one Cowboy, plus tots, and a corn dog slider and I was stuffed. We will certainly be back, often.

Such good food. The smoke and then deep fry their chicken. Very mellow spot to people

Definitely a cute hole in the wall. Super chill and laid back. I ordered chili cheese fries and unfortunately it was as it there was just some canned chili, heating up quickly and thrown on some fries that were already clearly cooked before we ordered our meal. Add some unmelted shredded cheese on top and that's what we got. The meal was not even hot, the cheese didn't melt at all. Also there was a hair from the mans black beard in the fries. I didn't choose to mention because I work in the industry and things happen, but overall quality of the chili cheese fries were poor. Would definitely go back for a hot dog though

Awesome-ist most juiciest grubbin cheese burger in the area! Nice big bun, perfect size meat patty thats spiced just right, shredded cheddar cheese, ripe but not too ripe tomato slices, crunchy onion & lettuce. I had to cut it in half so i could see the slightly pink inside! You know its a good burger when you take a bite & you can feel those yummy burger juices just a dripping down both sides of your chin. The garlic fries were bomb too. Nice chill open air environment. Would have liked it if they had some beers in a bottle though but other than that a great eating experience.

The burger I had was excellent, and the fried pickle slices are a must. Went with a friend on a Saturday night and we practically had the place to ourselves, an absolute rarity - only a few stopped in for to go orders. Will definitely be coming back.

A friend and I had lunch here a few days ago and I must say the burgers were very good. Juicy, perfectly done and filling. And the fries were on target. One thing that bothered me was the temperature inside. The windows consist of large garage doors and when opened allowed the very cool air to blow thru and make the place cooler than comfortable. I asked if they could be closed and although they obliged it seemed less than happy to do so. And I can understand why because with the garage doors down, the place had a not open for business look to it. It's a flaw that they need to resolve for I do believe it will make folks think twice about coming back. Chilly.

Awesome spot in Golden Hill/Sherman Heights. Solid food selection. Great sandwiches. Great chili. Bring your dog - they'll supply some puppy bacon (good for humans too)!

I ordered the chili to go and it was delicious. I want more right now. I will go back soon so that I can get more chili and enjoy my items from their menu.

Loves it!!! I came by sometime last summer to watch a dance performance at its locale center that is around the corner. Arriving early, as usual, decided to come inside this cute stand for a taste. In the past, I have always driven by it, but never know what they actually served food. From the look of outside, one might mistake it for a bar scene. Once I got inside, it wasn't a bar per se, its like a tiny place with a mama and papa type of establishment to it. The food is quite simple but delicious! fries and burgers! You got to try out their fries!!! Delish!!! And do sit outside at its booth. People that either drove by or walked back will be taken by its fragrance of sweet fried aroma of those fries. You can teased them if you like, cause its quite a tasty treat. It's a cute place to vegs or just enjoys the day away. When San Diego does get a nice good day out, come on by and try out this place. It goes to give you a relaxing vibe to it. The owners are bunch of relaxing people. Chill out~!

The theme is pretty awesome. Nuns with sunglasses and goatees make the world go round and round. The skinny: Burgers, hot dogs, other kinds of sandwiches, chili, beer. No frills, no nonsense. I haven't had anything bad from here yet, but then again, why would that be something I actively want to look for? I enjoy the food, and that's that. Their flat top is actually not flat at all, but then do I even officially know what a flat top burger actually is? Parking: Street only. Once I turn eastbound from Sister Ray's, I just keep driving until I find a spot. FYI: - The place is not very big, so seating isn't going to be very abundant. There are roughly 5-6 seats around the counter, some outward-facing seats towards the windows, and a couple of differently-sized tables for parties larger than 2. So, if you have a giant party, don't expect to be seated altogether. If you're party is more than 6, it's impossible unless you love constant bodily contact during your entire dining experience. - They have a TV that shows sports half the time and random movies at the other half.

Fun local restaurant/ bar that's walking distance from my place. I like the openness of this place; huge windows open up to let lots of air in.

This place is sooooo good. We’re all about the fried chicken sandwich (I think it’s called the Golden Girl). We’ve also had two of their burgers which were both really juicy and the buns have that buttery grilled texture I love. The employees are always really friendly and offer a water cup for our dog out on their dog friendly patio.

Flat top burger and chili on the side were amazing! Small place, order at the counter and take a seat. They have a nice selection of beer. Service was good and the prices reasonable. It's within walking distance of my house so I will be back for sure!
