The rice was very bad, only for lunch. It feels like rice that has been stored for many days, or old rice. It’s incredible. The rice in San Diego tastes so bad, but the rice I bought in the supermarket is not so bad. How did you do it?

The ingredients are not the highest quality, but the concept and flavors are good.We shared a medium beef dry pot betwen 3 people and added in a few veggies.

Fun place, ask for a sterno can if the flame goes low. Medium size hotpot here honestly feeds about 3-4 people. My friend and I couldn’t finish it ourselves.

The spicy level they have should niot be legal, i enjoyed spicy food, I ate just one spoon of the clams pot. Which there were almost no clams on it and I almost had a heart attack it was extremely spicy thst I started shocking and crying. They were uncaring and chargued us with not even a dollar discount.

This place is located in a plaza among other cuisines. The restaurant itself is fairly small. Parking: plenty of parking in the plaza parking lot or street parking if available The restaurant offers dry hot pot meaning that it comes in a shareable pot that keeps the food warm. I got the pork belly mixed with veggies garlic flavor and the beef slices with potatoes & broccoli spicy flavor. The food itself was basically comfort Chinese food, it comes with noodles or rice depending on your preference. Overall, the dishes were a tad bit salty but if you eat it with rice it balance out the flavor. Def give it a try if you want something different from the usual hot pot.

Craving for drypot so we decided to come here for lunch on a Sunday. Restaurant wasn't busy, plenty of seating available, and the server was very patient and thoroughly explained the menu since it was our first time here. We got a large drypot with garlic and medium spice level. This serves 4 people. Ordered beef tongue and pork ribs as our protein. The beef tongue was very tender and flavorful. We devoured an entire bowl of rice with it. Pork ribs weren't as tender and was kind of on the dry side. Would like to come back and try their other proteins as well. Price is very affordable for SD, it was less than $15 per person including tip. You definitely get the bang out of your buck! The ambiance was homey, and they provide disposable utensils to eat with. So if you're looking for a fancier place, this may not be for you.

YUMMYYY !! My friends and I got the signature numbing dry pot with pork belly and intestines and it was super yummy :')) The pork belly was really tender and flavorful, the veggies were all soaked up in the sauces and really nice and crunchy, and the intestines were SO GOOD; there wasn't enough intestines in the pot :( I recommend eating it with rice ! We got it at mild spice and that was the perfect level imo (it wasn't spicy, just super numbing), but my friends were sweating LOLL Overall, 10/10 flavor but the serving size was so small ;-; For 3 people, a size large wasn't enough (L would be better for 2 people at most I would say) It wasn't busy at all on a Monday afternoon, and our food came out quickly. 10/10 recommend if you like Szechuan spice !

This place is a lot of fun and stands out compared to other Chinese spots. There was four of us and we got a large pot, but two of us who have been here before said it wasn't much different in size from the medium. It was my first time so I wouldn't know personally, but I trust them and their experience!Mashed eggplant and preserved egg was really good, would highly recommend. This is the kind of place where you're going to just be eating a lot of white rice to soak up the sauce that everything comes in, so be ready for that!

This is my favorite restaurant in all of SD! There's always leftovers when we share this meal between two people. There's never a wait because most people usually order to-go and their service is always fast. We always get the large signature dry pot with numbing and spicy flavor, medium spice, with beef tongue and intestines. Bring cash for a 10% discount!
