Our waitress was great even though they were busy on Mother's Day. Their food was great and they have $1 mimosas on Sundays when you purchase an entree. I will go be back.

This place is just okay and is overpriced. I’ve came here a couple years ago and the food was definitely higher quality back then. We were disappointed in how dry and small the burgers were. We got medium burgers but they came out well-done. The price point for the burger entree was not a good match and we were VERY disappointed; the sweet potato fries were good though. The service was very attentive and our waters were consistently topped off. For San Diego, there are better options out there for the same price.

Pretty poor experience from start to finish. We sat on the patio with our dogs and there was some kind of work party happening. The party was fine except for the kids that were running around screaming and literally climbing on all of the empty tables. Understandably the kids should have been watched by the parents, but it would have been nice if the staff intervened when the kids were scuffing their shoes along all the table tops and running around/under our table even when we notified them. The food was incredibly overpriced for what you get. We got 3 basic burgers that weren’t cooked properly and lacked flavor aside from the ketchup we added. My onion rings were super overcooked and completely dry on the inside and when I told our server they just agreed they were overcooked.I had to take my daughter to the bathroom and the stalls were filthy, the dispensers were all taped shut/coming apart and smelly. You’d think paying $95 for three meals they could keep the place in better condition.Way overpriced for a mediocre experience.

Brought a large party, about 16 people, for a late lunch on the patio. Our waitress was Jessica and she was fantastic - very knowledgeable about the menu and beer selection. They have enough food options to please everyone, not just burgers, so if you are looking to get together a large group consider Slaters 50/50!

Drinks, atmosphere and service were 5 out of 5. I’m giving this place a 3 on food. It was our first time there. We had the artichoke/garlic/cheese dip which was amazing. Had both tequila drinks, the sh*t is bananas was hands down the BEST. I was suggested the tuna nachos by waitress over the poke bowl and lettuce wraps. Let’s just say, their description is a tad deceiving. Their description read: Spicy sushi-grade ahi tuna, cilantro slaw, toasted sesame seeds, pickled jalapeños, chipotle crema, scallions and chile-lime hominy piled high on crispy corn chips. Instead of hominy, they substituted for corn nuts and regular corn. They also added edamame, lettuce and black beans. A very weird and uncomfortable to eat combination. I ended up just eating the tuna off the top. My friend got the lettuce wraps, but it was served like a salad, not much for wrapping. Good flavor though. :)

If you're looking to turn your taste buds into bacon groupies, Slater's 50/50 in Liberty Station is your gastronomic guru! Picture this: a burger so epic, it's like it went to bacon boot camp and came out as the commander-in-chief of flavor. Their burgers aren't just sandwiches; they're culinary Mona Lisas, except Leonardo da Vinci traded his paintbrush for a grill and his canvas for a bun.And let's talk about their PB and Jealousy burger – it's like a culinary conspiracy theory: How did they manage to sneak natural peanut butter and rich jelly onto a bacon burger without causing a flavor revolution? It's like taking a delicious stroll down memory lane to your childhood PB&J days, except now you're an adult and you have the power to add bacon. It's a flavor symphony where every bite is a standing ovation. And let's not overlook the unsung hero of Slater's 50/50: the crispy Brussels sprouts. These little green nuggets of joy are the unsung champions of the appetizer world. They're like tiny veggie superheroes, emerging from the kitchen with a crispy exterior that gives way to a tender, flavorful center. One bite, and you'll be a Brussels sprout believer, wondering how something so humble could taste so divine. So, while you're busy indulging in bacon-infused brilliance, don't forget to pay homage to these crispy green gems—they're the perfect prelude to the bacon bonanza awaiting you.So, if you're ready to transcend ordinary burgers and embark on a bacon-fueled journey of epic proportions, Slater's 50/50 is your ticket to taste bud paradise. Just be prepared to have your mind (and your mouth) blown!

I’m a local and really would like to share the slaters experience. If you like a basic burger, think McDouble with a fried egg, plus add and extra 15 dollars to the price, then this is your spot. If you like waiting 30 minutes to get your check, then that’s also an added bonus. This was probably our 20th time here and every time the overall experience gets worse and worse through the years. A once packed restaurant with good service and reasonable prices went completely opposite. Cheers.

The food was very good. I was surprised, how much I enjoyed it because I wasn’t expecting much. Only thing I did didn’t like, was the place seems to be low on servers. It took a while to sit us, take our order and get our food. The server was friendly, just felt understaffed.
