Friendly service, good choice of beers on tap, but don't order the Cali Bowl -- it was disgusting with bits of meat I had to spit out because they could not be chewed.

Can't stress enough about this place being the number one HH Hack in the Downtown Area. They always Cater to. your party by offering to air whatever sporting event you desire. The entire staff are well trained and always have a sincere demeanor. My go-to will always be a bottle of champagne with pineapple and the carnitas breakfast burrito with extra salsa....See ya there

Other places were packed so we walked a little farther and found this place. Good food, good choices, very reasonable prices. Outdoor tables if you like, or indoor with lots of tv’s and loud music. I actually wish the music wasn’t quite so loud- hard to be “social” when you can’t hear the person next to you! But overall, pretty good place. Gluten free options galore, vegetarian too!

Perfect place to watch the game and enjoy some adult beverages! Fairly kid friendly, we brought our almost 12-month old and he enjoyed watching the big screens. Outdoor area too for the pups.

Overall 3.5 stars but I don't have that option so I rounded up to 4 stars. Service was great and ambiance was good but quiet for a football sunday. Spiked lavender lemonade was good but the margarita was lacking. The food was yummy but even though the place was nearly empty, somehow the food unfortunately came out pretty cold but the flavor was there. The loaded potato bites were my favorite out of what we ordered. The poblano queso that came with the pretzels did have a grainy texture but the flavor was good.

Awesome place to eat and drink while watching a free show at Petco Park. Seriously it’s one of the best places in downtown San Diego. But shhhh don’t tell anyone ?

The family and I came to watch the niners game on a Sunday morning because we had gotten turned away at our favorite niners bar - Bootleggers (apparently well behaved 12 year olds can't sit at the Bootleggers patio during game days ‍). Our misfortune turned out to be a great experience because we discovered Social Tap which is kid friendly and even has a dog friendly patio! We ordered Brussel sprouts to share and they were pretty good. I wasn't a huge fan of my breakfast sandwich as it came in a burger bun and was just too much cheese drowning my egg and bacon slices (next time I think I'll just get a burger). My husband's steak and eggs were alright (much better than my breakfast sandwich) and my kids seem to enjoy their choices (breakfast burger and millennial toast which was just avocado toast with some micro greens on top). I would give the food overall 3 stars. What ultimately led to this place being 4 stars was the overall experience (which I'd give 5 stars). It was easy to be seated, the servers were friendly and attentive. And best of all, there were so many TVs that you could see the football game from anywhere! This might be our new go to bar for Sunday football when our kids are in tow!

Been here a handful of times and I would definitely come back! I tried the Seoul chicken sandwich and it was really good! I enjoyed it. Also ordering drinks from union app sometimes has offers on there so that was nice. Overall a nice simple bar in downtown.

Some of the worst service I have ever experienced. Came with four people, we all ordered, my food came soon enough and about 5 minutes later, the server let two of my companions know their choice of food was unavailable (we’d ordered 20 minutes ago, how was this not discovered earlier?). They order something else and we wait another 10-15 minutes. Our fourth companion’s food has still not arrived. We have to flag the server over to follow up - no apologies at all. Eventually that comes and shortly after that, one of the remaining two receives their food.At this point, the server is actively avoiding our table. No ownership at all. We have to follow up again on the fourth person’s order. Finally, her food comes, cold. No apologies, no discounts, and a server would wouldn’t even talk to us face-to-face. Mistakes happen, but multiple mistakes is a pattern and a total lack of ownership shows a lack of care for your customers and a lack of interest in fixing the problem.

We stopped by here before a Padres game. It was crowded, but there was only two of us so we were able to fit in. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. The appetizer came out even before we got water or our beverages. Food was good. We had chips with guacamole and salsa. The chips tasted a little stale, but the serving of guacamole was heaping, so I'm overlooking that. Usually restaurants are stingy with the guac so this was huge to me. Service was very slow, but I'm attributing that to the Padres game. Otherwise drinks were good, food was good and prices very reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Tried Social Tap before going to a show at Petco park last weekend. It was great quick late lunch/early dinner before the show. We arrived at 2:45 which was a little bit earlier than when it opened but it was kind of cool how we were able to order with the code and pay as well. I loved and killed my Ahi Tuna tacos. We all ordered an espresso martini, but wish it was already mixed with creamer because it was quite bitter. I was able to get the creamer on the side so no big deal. Overall, it's the perfect spot for a quick meal.
