This place was awesome! Great beers, good price and excellent staff. Nikki is by far, one of the BEST beertenders I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Truly hostiplable and personable. She, in combination of the fantabulous beers makes it ver worthwhile of the visit. Definitely will go back!

Very good beer. Expensive

Fantastic small satellite tasting room of a great San Diego Brewery. Their beers never disappoint, and there bar tenders are always friendly. 100% recommend stopping here if you are in Old Town.

Bulbous Flowers Hazy IPA is one of the best I've tasted. I didn't have time to stop and have a beer, but they have to go cans!

Cute little brewery with plenty of seating. The only downside is outside stinks of cigars because of the shop next door so we sat inside.

This was my first time there. The beer was very good and so was the bartender and atmosphere. Will definitely be back when i am in town again.

Matt is an awesome beer tender! Great explanations on the beer, knowledgeable in the different beers on tap and great conversationalist. Awesome experience and will be back!

They are open 5 to 9...which is lame...went at 5 and had a beer but said we'd be back for a different IPA later...came back at 835 and was told the bar is closed...but I could buy a six pack of the beer I never got to try for $16

How nice just to stop in, try out a new flavor, and get a half pour. Old town can get really busy so this was refreshing. Super clear on what's available and ordering was easy. I'd come back!

I debated whether I should review this location because the night we went, they closed up early. Per the website, they were supposed to be open until 9 pm. But when we got the bar to place our order, the guy told us that he'd be closing up at 7:30 - in just under 30 minutes. That didn't give us enough time to settle in, relax or sample the beers, which I found highly disappointing (especially since we'd just paid for an Uber Pet down there.) So, to maximize our time, I went with a flight. I got the Pugilist (had it before, a decent porter); The Debutante (a tiny bit sour which was overpowered by the soapiness of the pour); The Madam (the surprise pour of the night, it coated my tongue and had a nice roastiness); and the Widow (was supposed to be 9% ABV but it didn't hit me that way.) My husband was able to get a couple of full pours in that less than 30-minute time period, but even he wasn't able to get the full experience out of our time there. We ended up taking another Uber from Old Town to Hess in North Park because we weren't done drinking for the night, even though Societe told us we should be.

Societe has amazing beers, great vibes, and staff is incredibly friendly! Was celebrating a friend's birthday and sat outside on the cool patio! It was a perfect spot for conversations and enjoying Old Town. The BEST PART - I found plenty of parking around the brewery!!! Artwork in the building is AWESOME. Chris was extremely attentive and insightful about ordering the right beers! You gotta go! Cheers!

Nice satellite location for Societe. And cheaper Pupil IPA than many restaurants. Only problem is the outdoor seating is adjacent to a cigar bar. The smell of stogies interferes with the taste of fine Societe beer. Purists should stay indoors.

Cool little satellite location of the main brewery. Beers are fresh, staff is friendly. Parking can be slightly challenging depending on the time of day.

There's a nice shady outdoor space to sit out at and people watch. A cigar bar is next door and you can order food from Tahona across the street.

Hidden secret in Old Town SD, some of SD’s best brews tucked in amongst the tourist trap shops and Mexican restaurants. Solid service and a nice seating area outside for people watching.
