Although I was eager to try the pink guava ice cream, it was unfortunately out of stock. Despite that, the service was lightning fast—I got my ice cream in less than a minute! The atmosphere was perfect for a sunny day, making it an overall fantastic experience.

I went here to celebrate my daughter no longer being allergic to milk by buying her first real ice cream. When we entered, two workers stood up but we weren’t greeted with a hello or welcome even though we were the only customers there at the time. My toddler daughter was excited and tried talking to the employees but there wasn’t much interaction on the employee end. I was a bit sad with the lack of interaction since I was trying to make this a special occasion for her. I know it’s ice cream and it’s basically self explanatory but the lack of communication was a bit disappointing, at least a “hello” would’ve been greatly appreciated. The transaction was very quick. I ended up ordering an ube ice cream in a cup with oreo topping. My daughter absolutely loved it. The delicious dessert made up for the mundane atmosphere. Go here if you want a quick in and out delicious dessert but don’t stay for the vibes.

I was just recovering for a cold but didn't even think about that when I came here!Husband had been here with friends before and he wanted me to try this place.Got the Aahbong with the soft serveRed bean fillingUbe and Thai Tea flavors soft serveMacaron and crushed Oreo on topNot going to lie. I genuinely love this. I was not expecting it to be this good because I'm not as much into Asian flavors as most people. But yeah this thing was amazing!Very smooth and delicious soft serve that was not extra sweet or anything. Honestly there was not so much of that red being filling inside and I guess it didn't add as much to the flavor. But that whole fish shape Aahbong itself was just Perfect with the soft serve. Honestly, I almost made the mistake of finishing up that Aahbong too soon and there would be too much soft serve left. But it was a good thing my husband paced me down be ahead of time.Definitely would recommend to anyone!

They have a whole break down online and in store of all their food allergies. Tons of options for people that are gluten free and dairy free / lactose free. I got the ube, great stuff. I felt like Three 6 Mafia with that purple drank in my cup. Except that purple drank was that purple ube. Still felt like a gangster.

Great ice cream, my kids love the ube and green tea. The green tea flavor isn't as authentic as Matcha Maiko's, but it's really good. The portion size is pretty big so if your kids are little, I'd definitely recommend splitting it. Four stars because there are no seats inside and the parking lot is always busy and most of the parking spaces are on a narrower side.The taiyaki (the fish shaped waffle) isn't shaped like the traditional ones from Japan but they make it fresh and it's always good!

Lol At this location I've had the AH-BOONGTheir signature goldfish-shaped waffle cone stuffed with your choice of filling & soft serve. Soooo delicious!!! I savor the waffle cone and eat that last after the soft serve and toppings! lol This place is a must to drop by and enjoy a yummy treat!!!

My boyfriend took me here on our first date almost 3 years ago and it's been a steady staple ever since. The service is quick and friendly and they always have great flavor combos and they're constantly switching them up. They've also recently added a cold brew which I have yet to try but I can't wait. We usually get the ah-boong which is the goldfish shaped cone filled with custard or ube and then topped with whatever flavor combo sounds good, usually an oreo and ube situation. They also have taiyaki, which is the goldfish shaped pastry that's just filled, without the soft serve. The area where SomiSomi is has a ton of other popular establishments so parking can be really tricky, if you're going with friends I highly suggest carpooling together. It makes it so much easier. There isn't really seating, there's a few tall tables that you can stand at and there's nowhere to really sit outside so it's more of a grab and go kind of option unless you're okay with standing.

Like many have mentioned, this location does get busy later in the evening, but it is such a great place to get dessert. They offer a variety of soft serve flavors like black sesame, ube, matcha and more. I believe they usually rotate their flavors weekly. When ordering, you get the choice of one flavor or two flavors swirled together and you can get it served in a goldfish shaped waffle cone (Ah-boong) or have it in a cup with it on the top. You can also get the cone filled with custard, nutella, red bean or no filling.This location has a lot of parking and shares a lot with Pho Cow Cali, Mochinut, and Gongcha.

I have never been disappointed by somi somi. I really liked this Mira Mesa location because there was plenty of parking and the place wasn't too packed like the one on Convoy where parking is non-existent and lines are out the door. I tried the strawberry chocolate swirl and it was pretty good. I still like the ube flavour. Still, it was a solid taste. I'll try another flavour next time.
