Very disheartened by this experience. Having a medically difficult day and I thought a stop at a Starbucks would life my spirits. When I walked up and said hello to the women standing at the register, she just pointed at the other girl somewhere I couldn't see. When the second girl asked what I would like, I said a "Viente iced green tea plain no syrup". She rang me up for a green tea lemonade and I calmly said that was not what I wanted and I would just like a plain green iced tea. I was then rang up for a London latte(?). The whole time, who I am assuming was the manager or trainer was standing directly next to her and offered no help. I then asked for a refund so I could just leave. I have dietary restrictions and at this point I was nervous to trust what was going to be made for me. The other employee stepped in when I asked for a refund and I repeated that I would like a refund so I could just please leave. She tried to refund me a dollar and some change which was the amount I was over charged. She was still insisting I pay for the tea which at this point I was not interested in and asked 3 times for a refund before it was finally granted. Very bad customer service. As a former Starbucks employee who knows how much it's the little things that make a huge difference, I was counting on a Starbucks experience to brighten my day. This was not it.

Horatio says they close at 8:00 pm and I arrived at 730 and they didn't want to serve me

This Starbucks is located inside the Vons. It might not be the largest store (it is certainly very small), but my Barista might have been the friendliest I've had in a long memory. Given this Von's lack of size, in the pretty congested SD neighborhood of Normal Heights and Kensington, there are no tables and chairs to sit and enjoy your cup of Joe. On a positive note, there are six EV Go Chargers outside in the parking lot. So you can grab a drink, while you EV gets a full tank of juice, too.

I experienced horrible service at this Starbucks today when two girls working at the Starbucks counter refused to serve or acknowledge me. There were no other customers around, and when I asked if I could order, they claimed to be "making drinks". They continued to make me wait with no one around and my autistic daughter fussing. They started playing with dishes in the sink trying to look like they were working, and laughing. Two of them. At the same time. No one around. Maybe they were making drinks for themselves??? I asked to speak to the assistant manager Antonio, who was even more rude, offered no apology, asked no questions, and turned to me asking "what do you want me to do?". It's hard not to feel like rude behavior like this isn't racially motivated in this day and age, where racist acts towards Asians happens so frequently. It's pure ignorance. I filed a complaint to the corporate office. I'll file a complaint to VONS corporation and Starbucks corporation. I will send video. Don't come to this Starbucks. The people are low class and could care less about their job.

My husband stopped here to get a coffee before a long drive. First, he saw the barista top off someone's brewed coffee with hot water. He ordered an americano. The barista gave him a whole milk latte which he gave back to her and asked if it could be an americano. By then, there was another brewed pot of coffee so she just poured him a brewed cup, which wasn't what he wanted but just took it and left. He said that she was really nice and was trying. Who is responsible of leaving her to attend the coffee bar without enough training?

Friendly partners. Well trained and efficient.

This Starbucks is a kiosk located inside Von's. I picked up a grande caffe misto made with their dark blend. It was better than I expected, meaning it was not harsh and offered a smoother finish. The barista was a little heavy on the milk but not by much. He was friendly enough and participated in small talk. I would recommend that they encourage their employees to be a little more welcoming and initiate conversation.

I lived across the street at 3621 and would wake up, get my Americano Pour Over w/ 4 pumps of raspberry)/iced coffee. Also, don’t say that you’ve been drinking it FOREVER, you’ve only been drinking it for 2 weeks... (People just finding out about pour overs, I feel bad for your face.)Anyways I still talk to all the baristas who worked there around that time and that Vons is so sweet & friendly. I MISS MY APARTMENT!!!!!!!

Not bad but the staff aren't well tipped and it might add to their crankiness. I stopped going since I feel like I'm a nuisance for whatever I order, which is just an espresso.
