I rarely post reviews but look at the review score. Quality speaks for itself. I live 3mins away from this location but I rather drive longer to go to the Del Mar Heights or Carmel Mt. locations which are approximately 15mins away from this location. This location ALWAYS has bad service and even worse quality of drinks. I last went here 3 years ago and it was pretty bad. Tried it again today hoping they had improved - but I was sadly disappointed again. I asked for a refund of my order and I returned the drinks. Everyone was non-apologetic and just not caring about their low level service. Hence the reviews shown here. I don’t plan to ever go back. It’s a shame since it’s so close and I could practically go walking. It is what it is.

When I went there, there are two employees one of whom looked like a newbie getting a training from manager. So I placed an order of an iced americano with one shot, and the manager pretended not to hear the word "one shot" being confused with white shot which is non-sense in this situation.After I got my drink and headed to home, I noticed that the drink was bitter which means it had an extra shot in my Americano!! Additionally when I got to the place to have my order corrected with one shot and extra charge being refunded, the trainee was not able to refund the credit to my Starbucks cash, making me wait until another employee came to give me a cash. Also when I asked where the manager was, I was told she was in the meeting. The whole processes I experienced you think were coincidental or some kind of pre-planed actions to make me upset, angry, down? It is up to your judgement, but I am having consistent bad experiences about economic activities with people which means the actions are targeted with purpose.

I got a Mocha Cookie Crumble frappe from here and it was absolutely horrible. It tasted watered down and the flavor just wasn't right. It was just a bad experience overall.

Grossest thing ever seen in Starbucks, I ordered tall coffee and the guy at counter wiped his nose before handling me my coffee. I asked him 'don't you guys wear gloves' , he said 'sometimes we do'. He probably had cold and in this time of virus, making coffee without gloves and mask is the worst thing to do also wipe your nose before handling it to customer 'wow'. I was shocked with the response and actually wanted to ask his name so I could write it here but, I didn't because I want problem to be taken care of the next time, it's not an acceptable attitude and response in this time of the world we are living in.

May I know why this location posted pictures of Israel and Gaza stuff in store? Like dear Coffee shop, you ran out of coffee stuff to post? We came to pick up our coffee and go on with our day. You do not need to spread politics inside of a coffee shop.

I would like to take a moment to write a review about an employee who really deserves recognition. One of the employees, who went by the name of Marquise, was so helpful, kind and sweet that he stopped his work to get my order; although, it was officially closed as it was past 8 pm a little. I really was craving it and I was fasting all day. I appreciate his help to quench my thirst and craving.

I love Starbucks and have enjoyed accumulating points towards free coffee. However I'm disappointed that they have doubled the number of points required for a free cup of regular coffee while also increasing the cost to purchase a cup, and that will affect how often I stop in

This store doesn’t offer in store pickup, doesn’t have a device to scan your codes on the app, and not very helpful baristas. They were rude and not friendly. Disappointed with the experience I’ve had 4 different times here

Asked for a extra day cappuccino, they poured 3 quarters milk. Coffee beans were horrible they used. Defiantly don’t know what there doing at this location.

One of my favorite Starbucks locations! Location/parking: Located inside Vons at a plaza near Studio Barre, Pizza Rev, and Peet's. Plenty of parking throughout the day. Depending on the day/time you come (avoid the high schoolers!) there are hardly any lines. I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes. They have a section for tables/chairs. Great spot to even do some work on your laptop. Customer service/order: The baristas especially Selene are always friendly, nice, and quick ! They always get my order correct and I really can't complain. My usual is an iced/hot americano with oat or almond milk with 3 shots of chai tea. There is a young lady there who wears a mask and I can tell she is smiling at me. So sweet! I realized that they are more expensive since they are part of a union, but they do accept star rewards with the mobile app. I also wish that I could order ahead of time through the app. to save time during the morning rush hour and just pick it up. Other than those minor issues, it really is a great location close to home with awesome customer service. 5 stars for customer service but overall 4.5 stars! Wish we could give half stars!!
