Decided to write a review since it seems there's back and forth. We ordered through uber eats and the prices are not worth it for the food at all! We got an order of popcorn chicken, the Nashville hot po boy, a side of mac and cheese, a side of red beans and rice, and deviled eggs for 80 dollars. My wife could not eat the chicken because it was rubbery and too salty! I could only eat 2 or 3 bites of the po boy because it was extremely hot and salty. And not enjoyably hot either; the chicken was black and I could see the dry bits of spices from it being way over-seasoned. The sides were okay, but as you guessed it, really salty. We will not be ordering from here again, and I would advise everyone to stear clear.

Locals for the past 3 years. Tried it when we first moved and it was great. The more we ate there the more we noticed the inconsistency in the cooking. Eventually it became (at best) a 50/50 chance as to whether the food was going to taste awful (overly-salted and peppered to a truly disgusting degree, covered in grease - even the mashed potatoes, soggy) or not (pretty great actually). We took a year and a half break and tried it again a few weeks ago… it was great again! Alas, this week we were put in our places (fool me twice… shame on me). Mac was so salty we just couldn’t eat it. Waffles tasted like… sourdough?! Not sure how to explain it other than they were sour (we ordered the cinnamon sugar waffles… $9 a waffle ?). If you choose to eat here… may the odds be ever in your favor.

I ordered what we're supposed to be made to order chocolate chip cookies that came burnt hard as a rock and as soon as I open the container, I could smell the burnt cookies. this business is so hit or miss. I don't know why I keep giving money to the owner And it's really disrespectful to think that this was acceptable to deliver to someone whoever put these in the container knew they were burnt and still had them delivered to my residence do better. 15$ for this is criminal

We got 2 og sandwiches. The chicken was tough and the breading sssssoooooooooooo salty. For those who care it wasn't so much southern fried chicken but more cajun. The bun, dressing and pickles were pretty good. We couldnt finish them bc of the salt. Won't order from here again.

Best chicken in waffles I have had in San Diego. This is real chicken and waffles, non of that boneless chicken fingers crap. This food was so good, made me want to slap my momma 2x. I had the 3 pc Drumstick Combo waffle for 16.00. Don't mind spending money if the food is good. Sometimes San Diego Restaurants and reviews and be misleading like Phil's no Real BBQ, that's neither here or there. Anyway, just go check this place out.

First time coming here! The atmosphere was really nice and it was super quiet on a Thursday night. The server was very kind as well. I ordered the loaded potato fries, and I was kinda disappointed. It tasted good, however my dish didn't come with green onions as specified in the menu. It was just fries, sour cream, cheese, and some other mystery sauce that I didn't recognize. It was pretty bland and really needed that extra fresh ingredient like green onions to brighten it up. I would come here to try it again :)

The boneless tenders we ordered were very hard, dry, and small. There was no juicy meat and I paid $50 for watery corn and tenders with minimal chicken. Super disappointed and was a loyal customer until now.

My boyfriend had the chicken tender sliders and they were wonderful. Our favorite was the hot Nashville slider. I had the Waffle and 3 piece southern style chicken combo. The waffle was warm and fluffy and the chicken satisfied my craving for a southern fried classic. If dinner isn’t what you’re looking for, this place also has a full bar, beer & ciders on tap, over 15 original cocktails, milkshakes, and fried cheesecake for dessert (I was eyeballing those, I just didn’t have any room left? )

Came here not knowing what to expect. To my surprise there was no wait and not packed as you would predict at 11am on sunday. I ordered a cinnamon waffle and chicken. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, the best fried chicken I think I've ever had. The waffle had amazing flavor not to mention their varieties were great, fruity pebbles, chocolate chip, cinnamon you name it. This place is a hidden gem, definitely. Only catch is everything is ordered separately and can be a little pricey. Other than that I highly recommend!

Bruh….I paid $120 cuz I got an array of items on their menu. It doesn’t come with sauce, you have to pay 1.50 for an ounce of sauce. The food taste good but I got an order of biscuits to go with this big ol bucket of gravy they got me, they gave me 1 biscuit! The food is good but the incredibly small portion is ridiculous for a such an expensive menu.

Randomly came here on a Friday at 7pm. They weren't crowded at all. Ambiance is very old and dark. I tried the jumbo bar wings in the flavor hot honey and did not taste that at all. It tasted like just plain grilled wings. But their ranch is really good. Parking is stressful and difficult because it's North Park but there are paid lots nearby ($7 an hour) however those fill up some nights too.

We went to this place thinking the food was going to be really good. We ordered 6 whole wings and fries, However the only thing that was good was the fries. The chicken was wayyy overdone, extra hard on the outside and the inside was greasy and slimy! Not good at all. We have been trying to call them and there has been no answer. I would not recommend this place at all! Very disappointed!!

Got delivery last night from Streetcar. Chicken sandwich, collard greens, coleslaw, tater tots and fried chicken. Fried chicken was awesome. Lots of very crispy skin and breading and super moist. (A bit salty but still OK.). Had lots leftover for lunch today. Super tasty.

These guys put KFC to mega-shame. Fresh fried chicken that's crispy on the outside and sweet juicy on the inside. And the mouthwatering sauces - they charge a dollar for extra sauce because it's worth it - but house made Ranch & the Buffalo Sauce is pretty kickin'. The sides are great: fried pickles, Mac & Cheese, potato salad. Love the Cornbread Waffle for their Chicken & Waffle combo. Plus - an outside patio that is pooch-friendly. Great food and and drink!
