I have tried almost every single cupcake shop in all of San Diego, and without a doubt, Sugar Bears are by far the very best! The flavor profile, the choices, the varieties, and the design of each, and every cupcake is outstanding! They also have vegan and gluten-free options, I have tried those as well, and they are incredibly moist, and taste amazing. I just picked up this dozen of cupcakes, the other day for the holidays, and they were a big hit at my party. I would highly recommend checking them out!

Delicious cupcakes and reasonably priced. All the restaurants use this front door and order screen. You place your order and they will text you once your order is done. Some pick nic tables out on a patio, but mostly it is a pick up and go. Parking is limited to the street.

Was craving sweets today and my wife surprised me with some treats from SugarBears. It was both our first time eating something from here as she ordered the Lemon Tart Bar and Cinnamon Crumb Cupcake and Bearownie Triple Chocolate. Everything was very good and fresh. We tasted just a bite and obviously saved the rest of the brownie since we ate a lot of sugar already. We'll definitely return to try other sweets.

I can't believe I haven't rated SugarBears yet. I order from them at least once a week, sometimes twice a week. My absolute favorite thing they make is their chocolate salted caramel cupcake, it's truly the best chocolate cake ever and I'm not really even a chocolate person. A close runner up is the vanilla bean cupcake. I also love their Bear Paws, which are chocolate chip cookies sandwiching peanut butter frosting and ganache. Especially if you heat it for a little bit and the cookies are all soft and the ganache is kind of melty, they are so good. The cinnamon crumb cupcake is also delicious, like coffee cake with a lil frosting. (If there's anything I don't just love: the brownie topped with chocolate is a little too sweet for me but topped with peanut butter it's better. The strawberry and birthday cupcakes taste a little artificial to me, maybe it's the dye or sprinkles I'm tasting? But everything else is STELLAR.)

No time for pictureS! So yummy! We had a carrot cake cupcake, delish. We also had a peanut butter bear claw, to die for. The peanut butter brownie also very tasty. The portions for the bear claw and brownie are made for sharing. A fourth is very satisfying. For us, the brownie needed to be washed down with a glass of milk. (That's not a complaint.)
