We stayed nearby Sunnyboy boy during our visit to San Diego and decided to give the place a try one day. Wish we came sooner because the food is delicious! The biscuits and gravy were good but I’d definitely get the fried chicken and biscuits! It does get busy around lunch time but it’s worth the quick wait. The staff is also very nice which is a huge plus!

The staff have always been friendly and inviting. The cook of the day was Jay and she made my dish to??? perfection. Awesome service. I definitely recommend dining here.

This beautiful small establishment kicks a punch with its delicious and plentiful breakfast menu. We had the Sunrise Clucker and it was fantastic. There is both outdoor and indoor seating. Make sure you arrive early because they can get super busy.

It's hard to fine a southern-style breakfast in San Diego; Sunnyboy does it better than anywhere else I have found locally. whether you're looking for coffee and a pastry or a pile of biscuits smothered in gravy and fried chicken, Sunnyboy is a great go-to for any brunch craving. The inside is cozy with limited space and seating but there's a back porch that's more open with larger tables. Parking nearby is always very limited and you can expect to wait in line during peak morning hours, however the wait is always worth it.

This was my first time here!! Not a good experience. Customer service was mid could have been much better. The representative just had to let me know they charge for a little serving of jam. I get that this a small business but kindness goes a long way and will always guarantee customers returning. I ordered two rosemary chicken biscuits. The biscuits were cold. The chicken taste old. I will never return or recommend this place to no one. Truly, a waste of money. Never again!!!

The hype is real. First time here and challenging to order as everything looked good. Ended ordering basic biscuit and gravy, sausage and grabbed a blackberry cheese muffin. I wish the muffin was room temperature as it was refrigerated cold. Cool vibe and friendly service.
