A great value option when dining at the zoo. Tons of seating and a great view of the stage when there are performances during the summer. It doesn't tend to get busy. Food is priced competitively and quality is good. Their chicken tenders are always a hit for my kids. Be back soon.

The black bean burger was OKAY. Expensive prices as expected at the zoo. I would recommend bringing your own food (it’s allowed) or at least your own drink! I will next time :)

Watch out for their deceptive practices on the drinks. I ordered the regular soda and they gave me the $10 one instead. When I clarified at the register it was the expensive one they basically offered to toss the heavy plastic and exchange for the one I ordered. So much for conservation.

The food, while it tasted good, was viciously overpriced. Not to mention, the workers forgot one of our meals and after that we had to go back to request our sides. Honestly? Save your money and wait until you’re home to eat.

It was terrible food. from which I got a burn and it was very not good, and very expensive, like in good restaurants. This place is not worth it. I don't recommend getting close at all

This appeared to be the best food option at the time. BBQ - how can we go wrong. Only 1 BBQ option on the menu (brisket sandwich). The fish and chips were good and the tartar sauce was delicious but everything else was mediocre. Maybe pack a lunch if possible.

From the kids Perspective, Cece ordered the "garden salad" and it turned out okay but they only had ranch dressing which was disappointing. Kara ordered the "polled pork sandwich" that came with some fries and it turned out good.. but messy. Karson ordered the "the chicken strip basket" which was good but they didn't have enough salt. From the parents perspective, the costumer service was horrible when we ordered the lady who took our order didn't even acknowledge us. When we got up to order she just stared at us until we started talking. When we were done I said thank you and she said nothing so I thought she couldn't hear me so I said it louder and she said "Uh-huh". Over all the food was nice but the costumer service wasn't great.

Absolutely the most disgusting veggie burger I've ever had...flavorless & sloppy. Fries are pretty hard to mess up but they managed to make the worst fries ever! Nachos with cheese... ZERO flavor. It's like they poured melted plastic on salted cardboard. Total & utter disappointment! Especially after standing in line for over 30 minutes... you have been warned!

This is my favorite spot to grab food at the zoo! It's their take of a bbq joint. We always get the pulled pork nachos, they are so good and perfect sizing for two people. Although they do have some canned adult beverages, it's right across from the best bar at the zoo with a ton of draft options for every taste bud. There's also a ton of seating so you can always find a table. Around different times of the year when they do festive shows or performances they always set up a stage in this area so it's a good headquarter for sure. The location is ideal too because it's right in the middle of multiple different walking routes for wherever and whoever you wanna see that day.

This was a solid choice for our group. Pulled pork sandwich, kid's chicken strips, and Italian sandwich all hit the spot. Service was friendly and efficient.

Pretty good food is located inside the SD zoo. Brisket Burger was filling, and satisfying. The brisket was tender and they gave us plenty of bbq sauce so delicious. It comes with coleslaw and fries on the side. Oh and 1 onion ring. Lol, we also got a side of onion rings. It was gooood! Wish they gave more on the portion lol. Overall a good experience. You line up, order the food, pay for it, and wait for your food to come out. There is plenty of seating areas as well.

Delicious oreo sundae! There was a lot of oreo topping so I was satisfied.

Categorically the worst coffee I have ever had in my life. No amount of creamer or sugar could save my tastebuds from the bitter, liquidy hell that was masquerading as coffee. Hot chips were ok.

Girl who helped us was great and super nice.... We just got a water and a couple packs of Dippin Dots. 5/5! That said..... I bought everything via Apple Pay, payment cleared, no big deal. About $20. Since then, Sydney's has tried to run my card via Apple Pay for the same amount, every single day, multiple times a day, since I was there on 9/18/22. It's now 10/5/22. Beyond insane.
