The first time here was a lunch suggested by a friend who picked the spot. I gad a pita sandwich and a soft drink, the cost was about 17 dollars.It was very good and filling. I will definitely be back.

This is not a review about the place, but a review about a person that works here. His Name is Raz and let me tell you that this guy will go above and beyond for you. My wife and I were visiting the coffee place next door and lost our keys. We thought maybe we had lost them in the parking lot so we went next door to see of maybe somebody that visited the place next door had turned them in , that's when we met Raz. If the owner personally knows Raz just know that he went above and beyond to try and help us and we hope that if there is some type of employee compensation for his actions because his care, time, and compassion he displayed made our unfortunate situation go alot easier. We are visiting from out of town and I had my wife and 1 yr old daughter. Eventually we found our keys but as mentioned before if it wasn't for Raz our situation would have felt worst

Tahini excels in 3 main things: consistency, value, and taste. Whenever I'm in the mood for Mediterranean food tahini is always on the short list of places to go. Their steak Sharma rice bowels are packed and offer a satisfying meal at an incredible price. Little out of the way in terms of my usual spots in San Diego but they always deliver on taste. Would definitely recommend
Came here AGAIN because this place has been on my mind since trying it for the first time. This time I ordered a Pita Sandwhich and it did not disappoint. It is so fat and they stuff it perfectly. I ordered mine with French fries inside, and I highly recommend you do the same!! No doubt this place is my go to for lunch or for when I want a healthier option. 10/10!!

Hands-down my favorite spot for casual middle eastern food in San Diego! Everything consistently tastes great, parking has never been an issue despite the small lot, and the staff are always super friendly and detail oriented with my takeout orders (my request for sauces on the side is always highlighted on my receipt, which I appreciate since so many places can and do overlook that). Plus their sister coffee shop next door is great too!

My heart is full after trying Tahini! The flavors and quality of their ingredients were a 10/10. I ordered a rice bowl with 1/2 chicken and 1/2 steak and got ALL of the toppings except shredded cheese (recommend feta instead). Also do not miss out on the toasted almonds. They added a nice crunch to the entire bowl. Now for sauces I got the tahini in the bowl and garlic sauce and cucumber yogurt on the side. The tahini was chefs kiss and I LOVED the cucumber yogurt. I enjoy hints of garlic but if you love garlic, definitely get the garlic sauce! And for my halloumi cheese stix... they were just delightful. This side comes with its own side of pita and a fig jam and cucumber yogurt sauce. The two sauces with the halloumi cheese fulfilled my love for sweet & savory combos. I'm downright obsessed with this place now
